Shipment is the delivery of ordered goods from sellers to their

customers

E.g.- Mr. A has ordered a product -Nokia e63 from ABC store, the store

owner has opted for DTDC courier service to deliver the mobile. This

whole process of delivering the mobile from the store owner to the buyer

is called ‘Shipment’




2Why should one create and

confirm shipment



The store owner should create and confirm ‘Shipment’ when:

He/she wants to change the number of quantities to be shipped because

of the nature or size of the goods. E.g. A store owner might want to ship

two fragile order items through two different shipments

He/she prefers to use his/her own delivery method rather than selecting

‘Fulfillment by Goo2o’ option

Step 1:

Log in to your store admin panel with your login id and password

Click on the ‘Manage’ tab and select ‘Orders’ from the drop down menu

Step 2:

On the ‘Orders’ page you can see the current status of all the ordered

items placed by your customers

Step 3:

Click on the ‘Create Shipment’ button, respective of the order to be

shipped

Once you have selected ‘Create Shipment’ you will be directed to ‘Create

Shipment’ page

Step 4:

On the ‘Create shipment’ page you can combine and pack items to create

a shipment

Select ‘No, I want to ship the items myself’ to ship the items yourself

You can also select ‘Yes, I want Goo2o to do the fulfillment for my

shipment’ to use fulfillment by Goo2o

Step 5:

On the ‘Create Shipment’ page you will see the details of selected

ordered items and the details of all those other ordered items which

have to be shipped to the same address

Note: View our ‘How to use fulfillment by Goo2o’ wiki to understand the

steps required to use fulfillment by Goo2o





Step 6:

On the ‘Create Shipment’ page you can select whether you want to add

other orders to the same shipment or not

To add other orders to the same shipment click on the ‘Add to Shipment’

button

Step 7:

Once you click on ‘Add to Shipment’ button your other orders will get

added to ‘Shipment Items’

You can select the quantities from the ‘Quantity to Ship’ drop down

menu

Step 8:

After selecting the quantity click on the ‘Create’ button

Step 9:

Once you click the ‘Create’ button you will be directed to ‘Shipment

details’ page

Here you will see the summarize details of all the orders to be shipped

Step 10:

Fill up all the ‘Carrier details’ in the field shown and click on the ‘Confirm

shipment’ button to complete the process

Now you have successfully completed the process

If an order is through cash on delivery (COD) mode then total order

amount will be limited to Rs. 10,000

In case of COD orders, fulfillment has to be by Goo2o

During edit a shipment, minimum number of quantity by default will be

equal to the quantity added at the time of creating a shipment
