The most common reasons:
customize or individualize the curriculum and
learning environment
accomplish more academically than in schools,
use various pedagogical approaches,
enhance family relationships,
provide guided and reasoned social interactions
with youthful peers and adults,
provide a safer environment for children and
youth, because of physical violence, drugs and
alcohol, psychological abuse, and improper and
unhealthy sexuality associated with schools, and
teach and impart a particular set of values,
beliefs, and worldview to children and youth.

Why Home School?
• Public schools are secular. Their goal
is to make students conform to the
norms of society (political correctness).
• This goal is in complete
contradiction to God’s goal. Romans 12:2
“Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that
good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Forming Christian character
as we prepare students for
future works of service...
"For the perfecting of the saints, for work of the
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."
Ephesians 4:12
Our mission is to provide a Bible-based,
Christian education which excels in teaching
the whole child, considering multiple
intelligences, the way they learn and support
families’ efforts to fulfill Deuteronomy 6:4.
What is the Goal of
TSCHS?
To partner with Christian families
to assist in the training of their
children to love, serve, and be
conformed to the image of Jesus
Christ: and at the same time offer
a superior education.
