The AFG is a registered charity (SC001256) which promotes French language, culture and la Francophonie. As a not-for-profit organisation, we depend on public funding, sponsorship and support from individuals to develop some of our activities, such as our cultural programme, educational activities with schools, etc.

Payment: Your place on any of our courses will not be confirmed until the full payment has been received. The Alliance Française Glasgow does not accept payment by instalments.Once you sign up for any of our classes, you accept the format of the class as offered by the Alliance Française Glasgow, whether classes take place at our premises or online/remotely.

Cancellation: Fees can neither be refunded nor held in credit if you withdraw once you have enrolled and your payment has been accepted. There will be no partial refund for classes not attended by the student. If, owing to insufficient numbers, we have to cancel a course before its start, a full credit or refund by cheque will be applied.If, due to adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances, we have to cancel a lesson, you will be notified by the Language Office as soon as possible and we will do our best to reschedule this lesson at a later date.

Enrolment: Due to the limited capacity in each class, we may have to determine a deadline for re-enrolling in the following term; this will be notified to you by email. Following this deadline, we will not be able to guarantee you a space in your chosen course.We reserve the right to suspend or expel any student who behaves in a manner which affects the good name and security of the AFG’s staff and students.
