    that helps you achieve your academic,

    athletic, and personal goals. Our student

    athletes have won 54 conerence

    championships, made 36 appearances at

    national championships, and received

    numerous individual awards (35 All-

    Americans, 53 Academic All-Americans,25 Conerence MVPs).

    At HNU, you will join a community o

    leaders on and o the playing felds!

    Our student athletes serve in leadership

    positions across campus and on the Student

    Athlete Advisory Committee. Last year

    alone, our student athletes perormed more

    than 40,000 service hours! The leadership

    and guidance our coaches provide have

    garnered 26 Conerence Coach o the Year

    Awards.

    HNU Athletics was recently advanced to

    candidacy year two o the NCAA Division II

    membership process and competes in thePacifc West Conerence, which includes

    universities in Caliornia, Hawaii, and Utah.

    Get involved! All students have an

    opportunity to grow through their

    experiences on campus and beyond.

    While you may come up with great ways to

    have un on your own, student organizations

    like the HNU Spirit Club and the Outdoor

    Activities Klub (OAK), make sure that there

    is always something un to do on or around

    campus. You will probably fnd that there is

    already a club or organization that is

    dedicated to one o your avorite activities.

    I there isnt, be creative! At HNU, students

    are encouraged to start new clubs and

    initiate new activities.

    The Value o HNU

    In the orm o a HNU grant or scholarship

    assistance, 100 percent o the incoming

    students to Holy Names University receive

    institutional aid. This is money we give you

    to help pay or school that you dont ever

    have to pay back.

    It is the goal o HNU to assist students with

    the overall cost o attendance: tuition,

    books, room and board, travel, etc. Along

    with HNU fnancial assistance, most

    students will apply or ederal fnancial aid

    using the FAFSA (ree application or

    ederal student aid), which can be ound at

    www.asa.ed.gov. The application is ree

    and this is how you qualiy or grants, loans,

    and ederal work study to assist in paying

    or college. Caliornia residents who qualiy

    or the Cal Grant will receive up to $9,084

    per year to help pay or school at Holy

    Names University.
