In response to the Covid19 global pandemic,
and based on the feedback received from the
Covid19 Community Network, Strathcarron
Project, Community Council, local food
shops and members of the community;
Lochcarron Community Development
Company is pleased to announce that
their applications for financial support to as-
sist the community through this crisis has
been successful. All residents within the
Lochcarron area* are eligible to apply for as-
sistance. To date, funding has been received
from the Supporting Communities Fund and
the North Highland Initiative, other
applications have been lodged and we await
a response. Moving through uncharted wa-
ters is difficult, so please look upon this as a
series of pilot projects. Some will be more
successful than others. We will be
responding as quickly as possible to the ever
changing situation and monitoring
developments.
We hope that some projects will provide us
with a sustainable legacy.
