Hematology cell counter is an auxiliary device used during microscope evaluation of blood cells in manually performed peripheral blood smears as well as in bone marrow.
Hematology cell counter allows counting and keeping in memory up to 1999 cells or other elements of 12 or 46 types, depending on the counter’s model, as well as introduction of patient’s serial number and the date of analysis. It also allows to prepare statistics of conducted analysis. Counting is done by pressing button corresponding to the element, which was found in blood smear or in bone marrow.Counting each 100 cells is signaled by longer beep signal.RS 232 connector allows to export the data stored in the counter’s memory to optional external printer, computer or internal laboratory system.In case of loss of power supply the device will keep in memory all results, even for a few days.Both models have compact dimensions, thus it is easy to find a place for them even when the laboratory work surface is limited.
