The company that has established itself over the years as a leading name in Italian design and

style, having revolutionized the concept of the Demi Jet motorbike helmet with its FGTR model,

Momodesign is tackling safety measure issues, by investing in the development of a graphene helmet with unique performances in terms of

resistance to impacts and heat dissipating with a consequent comfort improvement.

The project has come about thanks to the close and prestigious partnership between IIT’s Graphene

Labs and Momodesign Style Center.Research, innovation and use of two-dimensional

BLADE, the innovative Jet model has a shell of contained dimension, coated with a special metal paint that gives a more material and tactile effect, in contrast with the linear and shiny central graphic characterized by the logo. Unique shape, elegant core, oustanding design and technical highlights. FGTR was born in 2000 as the Urban Demi-Jet Helmet. Historically inspired by the helmets of helicopter pilots it becomes a cultural phenomenon, a conjuncture between Momodesign’s racing past and its present as a design brand that is 100% Italian.This is the best product to exemplify the reinterpretation of an object designed for daily use according to Momodesign. When Momodesign launched “FGTR” it was decided to put the person and his or her urban lifestyle at the center of everything.

The inspiration for the shape comes from military helicopter helmets with their rounded visors. “FGTR” has special Soft touch paint, hand-sewn leather and carbon fiber details: a balanced mix of Italian style, technology and design. The upside-down T logo was a winning concept born to be against to the trend and the style of the beginning of 21st century.

This additional property has enabled us to create a avant-garde helmet whose high impact resistance is maintained even under conditions of extreme ambient temperatures. Due to graphene’s capacity for dissipating heat, the helmet’s thermoregulatory outer shell allows the wearer to feel comfortable even during direct exposure to the sun.

STRENGTH - Graphene distributes the impact force of the collision better than any other material. This allowed us to produce a more durable helmet, improving the safety.

COMFORT - Graphene due to its high thermal conductivity allows a reduction of the internal heat and improves thermal comfort.

PERFORMANCES - The impact resistance is guaranteed even in extreme conditions of environmental heating.

The first graphene helmet ever made, result of the material quality, production process and reached performances. The Graphene due to the material’s particular properties, is able to distribute the force of an impact better than any other material. Graphene is also an excellent conductor of heat.

The FGTR EVO has been renewed, strengthening the technological aspect and style. Completely redesigned by MOMODESIGN’s Style Center, the FGTR EVO is enriched with functional aesthetic details: an adjustable external visor in optical class, an integrated sun visor, a new visor support screw and a new removable inner padding in anti-bacteriological memory fabric with a more comfortable fit.
