3. The Soviets forced the Cubans to place nuclear missiles in Cuba, 90 miles off the coast of Florida.

4. US spy planes on routine security checks spotted these missiles, in October of 1962.

5. To ensure US security, you have ordered a naval blockade of the island of Cuba.
