The event, held over three days, would also not be possible without the support of our loyal suppliers and partners in the agricultural industry. A special thank you to NBR, Timken, GUD, Bellota and Comer who played an active and interactive role during the exhibition.

All the newest products on offer were available to touch and inspect, and interesting discussions were held on the items, how they work, what they do and how to use them effectively.

The new products on show were the Pivot wheel , UDOR 350 pump, VT Rex disc, thick dart point sweep, ripper points for DLB, slasher part range,

With the new season close at hand, it is also important to make sure that the ranges are complete and

It is clear that this season will also have its challenges due to environmental impact restraints in China, which are hampering production schedules. The fluctuation of the currency and the steel price hikes will also play a huge role in the availability and price competitiveness of products. In addition, the lower grain commodity prices will also have an effect on our customers’ purchases, even though good crop yields were achieved.

WAS HELD AT THE SPLENDID SERENGETI GOLF

AND WILDLIFE ESTATE - A CHANGE FROM THE

CONFINES OF THE PRODIST WAREHOUSE WHERE

IT WAS HELD PREVIOUSLY.

And by all accounts it would seem that the venue added to the event’s impact and allure for suppliers as over 600 clients attended and enjoyed 80 exhibits, which included live demos and interactions

with product managers.

The atmosphere was an electric combination of market professionalism and sales hutzpah harking back to the days of the first county fairs and trade shows, when customers and clients came from all corners of the country to see what was new in the market. K-Rain and Lasher’s stalls were noted as having the best exhibitions while the Prodist team added to the fun vibe by awarding prizes to clients randomly throughout the three days of the event.

“This event has grown in stature from year to year and I think this year we raised the bar in terms of venue, exhibits, organisation and atmosphere. We also had good interaction with clients and product managers and lots of

Een manier om seker te maak jou hoenders kom

Rainwater harvesting is a practical, cost effective method of addressing some of our major water challenges in South Africa. The environmental impact of urbanisation has an effect on our water resources and this leads to the demand for rainwater harvesting systems. The benefits of rainwater harvesting are paramount to a sustainable water environment in urban areas and we need to spur on the uptake of these systems by residential, commercial and industrial property owners.

There has been a revival of urban rainwater harvesting in the past few decades as population pressures and increased cycles of drought and flood put strain on our water resources. The high cost of centrally supplied water, in both economic and environmental terms, has driven many people to consider more sustainable methods of water supply. Modern products (such as the ones supplied by Prodist) and system design techniques can ensure a much higher quality of water than traditional low-tech gutter-to-barrel systems. The 6 kg Afrox Handipack is a compact, por table gas c ylinder and cooker

combination that provides a unique package of portable energy. The Handipack is safe,
