The Potter

Yesterday, our teacher took us to a potter’s shed. We sat around him. We

watched him make pots with clay. He made six small pots in one hour. He

used a wheel and a stick to make the pots.

He then placed the pots on a fire. The fire made the pots hard and strong.

We tried making pots too. We were not able to make any. But we liked

playing with the cool clay.

It was time to go home. The potter gave us a small pot each. We thanked

him. We painted the pots after coming home.
