標記に関しまして、台湾連盟より、次の行事の開催案内がありました。貴県連盟内にご周知い

ただき参加希望者がいる場合は、事務局教育開発部へお問い合わせください。

なお、申し込みにあたっては、日本連盟「スカウトの海外渡航に関する基準」（日本連盟教育

規程７－８参照）の「参加資格」を満たしている事が必要です。

(1) 行事名：ナショナル・ローバー・カンファレンス（台湾表記：全國羅浮群長年會）概要：台湾連盟ローバースカウト会議開催者：台湾連盟期間：平成３０年２月３日（土）～７日（水）場所：台湾宜蘭県佛光大学（Fo Guang University）

(No. 160, Linwei Road, Jiaoxi Township, Yilan County, Taiwan) 台湾桃園国際空港から約１００ｋｍ離れています。

参加対象：ローバースカウト及びローバー年代の指導者参加費：３５００元（約１万３千円）

これには、カンファレンス資料一式、到着日と出発日の台湾桃園国際空港と会場間の移動、２月３日から７日までの宿泊、２月３日夕方から７日の昼までの食事が含まれる。会期中は舎営泊であるが、寝袋などの持参が求められる。これ以外の航空・交通手配や期間外の食事などは自己負担とする。

（２）行事名：第１４回台湾ローバームート（14th National Rover Moot）内容：ローバーリング１００周年を記念とする台湾連盟ローバースカウト野営大会開催者：台湾連盟開催期間：平成３０年８月１７日（金）～２３日（木）場所：台湾台南市鳥山頭水庫風景區（Wusanto Reservoir）テーマ：Rover lives, Being different参加対象：ローバースカウト及び同年代の指導者参加費：２５０ドル（約３万円）

これには、プログラム費、ムート支給品（ネッカーチーフ、ワッペン、ハンドブック）、到着日と出発日の高雄空港と会場間の移動、８月１７日の夕方から２３日の昼までの食事が含まれる。会期中は野営泊なので、野営に必要な個人装備の持参が求められる。これ以外の航空・交通手配や期間外の食事などは自己負担とする。

2018 National Rover Conference

Preliminary information of this event:

Date

3rd February to 7th February, 2018Participants are expected to arrive on 2nd ~3rd February 2018 and may depart on 7th~8th February.

It is suggested that participants to arrive the conference venue

one day before. It takes about 2 hours from Taoyuan International

Airport (TPE) to the venue (Fo Guang University).

(Please notice that if participants decide to arrive early on 2nd February and/or leave on 8th February, it will cost an extra fee for the accommodation and meals. Participants may also choose to stay in hostels rather than the conference venue.)

Eligibility of participant:

Participants from NSOs must be endorsed by the National Scout Organization and must be between 18 to 26 years old on the date of the conference.

Language

Mandarin Chinese Most of the sessions of 2018 National Rover Conference will be conducted in Mandarin Chinese; therefore, participants who know Mandarin are more preferable.

The fee covers conference kit and materials, inland transportation, and accommodation for four nights (check-in on 3rd February 2018 and check-out on 7th February 2018), meals for five days (starting from dinner of 3rd February till lunch of 7th February 2018). Participants will live in dormitory, please prepare your own sleeping bag and sleeping pad.

Further information for visiting Taiwan:

Arrive by Airplane

The main international airport of Taiwan is Taiwan Taoyuan

international airport (TPE), there are some other options such as

Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA) and Hualian Airport (HUN), however

we strongly recommend that participants to be arrived at Taiwan

Taoyuan international airport (TPE) on 2nd~3rd February.

VISA

Citizens of some countries will require valid visa to enter Taiwan (R.O.C). Thus, all participants should obtain an entry visa before traveling to Taiwan (R.O.C.) and can consult their local travel advice service or the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in most capital cities. For information about the latter visit the webpage of the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs: http://www.mofa.gov.tw/. All those requiring an invitation letter or other assistance should contact us with email before January 10th, 2018.

Venue Location

2018 National Rover Conference will be held in Fo Guang University, Yilan County, located in northern part of Taiwan.








Weather in Yilan

In Taiwan, winter is from November to February. Temperatures hit 15/16°C (59/60°F), and there are some rainy days during the period of time, also it might get very windy so a jacket or a cardigan and an umbrella may be necessary

Voltage

Electric current of 110 volts at 60 cycles is used in Taiwan, participants from Europe, Australia or South-East Asia will need an adaptor or transformer. Many buildings have sockets with 220 volts especially for the use of air conditioners.

Currency

The Republic of China's (Taiwanese) unit of currency is the New Taiwan Dollar (NT$), which has five denominations in paper money and five in coins. Paper money comes in NT$2000, NT$1000, NT$500, NT$200, and NT$100 denominations. Coins come in NT$50, NT$20, NT$10, NT$5 and NT$1 denominations. Our currency rankings show that the most popular Taiwan New Dollar exchange rate is the USD to TWD rate, and the rate is around $1US dollar to NT$30 dollars. Major credit cards such as American Express, Master Card, Visa, and Diners Club are accepted and traveler's checks may be cashed at foreign-exchange banks, some tourist-oriented businesses, and most international tourist hotels.

Mobile Phones

GSM mobile phones operate in the 900 MHz or 1800 MHz frequency bands.








Anti-smoking Law

Smoking is banned in all closed public and work premises, including catering and accommodation establishments.
