Our journey of faith in this world brings daily joys, challenges & difficulties and God has connected

us to each other in our church community to encourage and help each other as we grow.

The Bible makes it clear that the more mature in the faith are to support and guide the newer people in their faith. This is where our 2012 vision Growing Forward picks up; as we orchestrate

our church into connecting with a ONE2ONE.

A ONE2ONE is a Christian brother or sister with whom you’ll meet with for accountability & encouragement

as we walk this life path following Jesus...

In Scripture the communication between Paul & Titus reveals the purpose for our ONE2ONE vision. By meeting together in the pursuit of a deeper relationship with God the Father, we will actively align ourselves with biblical truth & encourage each other in godliness. We will build strong relationships together while we find God’s will for our lives, and overcome life’s difficulties. In the book of Matthew, Jesus tells us that when we meet with one another in His name He will be in our midst. We believe that as we pursue this initiative, keeping Christ at the centre of our journeys together, we will see blessings & breakthrough. The ONE2ONE strategy will help us grow in ministry, leadership and in our love for Jesus.

There will be one ONE2ONE life guide for each person, brother to brother or sister to sister.We will ensure there is flexibility in choice and changing of your ONE2ONE, we are modelling off JESUS not the particular person you ONE2ONE with.Your ONE2ONE guide and yourself will have regular catch ups done at a time & in a way that suits you both.Confidentiality is paramount- there will be no discussion of shared details by your ONE2ONE with others.Referral to pastoral help continues to be available- the ONE2ONE role is advisory only. It is not professional counselling. ONE2ONE guides areaccountable to the church leadership.The ONE2ONE meets are integrated with the Centre Church vision and pro-gram: Bible based, Grace oriented & Spirit empowered.

Everyone 18+ is encouraged to be a part of the ONE2ONE program and mature believers will be appointed as ONE2ONE guides.

Everyone will benefit from guidance & accountability in their journey of faith. Those of us who would like to help, input and build up others will be encouraged to become ONE2ONE guides. If you call CentreChurch your church, we encourage you to be a part of this vision for 2012.

FIRST | fill out a ONE2ONE request form.

SECOND | place it in the offering collection during one of

our services or pass it to a CentreChurch pastor or elder.

THIRD | make any specific requests.

FOURTH | begin the ONE2ONE meets when your

guide is appointed.
