On a connection fitted with a regulator:

The airflow rate is maintained at a constant level in the ventilated room,

regardless of whether the motor is running at low or high speed.

This is the principle used by AUTO regulators in bathrooms and WCs for

AUTO (Self-balanced CMEV) units

The WC connections in the PureAIR Classic units are fitted with a

regulator. The airflow rate remains constant within the WC.

On a connection fitted with an auto ampli:

The flowrate is guaranteed to be constant in low speed and amplified when

the unit is switched to high speed (the plastic film is pushed aside under

the effect of the increased pressure drop).

This is the principle used for the Kitchen Auto Ampli in AUTO (Self-balanced)

units. This activates a peak flowrate for those rooms fitted with this Auto

Ampli only.

The bathroom and kitchen connections for PureAIR Classic units are

fitted with this Auto Ampli system, which provides a boost to the airflow for

these rooms.

On a connection fitted with an calibrated hole:

The air passage cross-section is calibrated to provide an airflow rate

proportional to the increase in the speed of the motor.

The connections fitted with this system provide a wide range of airflow rates.

The bathroom, WC and kitchen connections on Premium & Connect

units are fitted with calibrated holes. The increase in airflow rate for each

room is progressive and allows the system to operate from a Holiday Mode to

a Guest Mode.
