Luke and Juliette enjoyed visiting the river near the Ayta community where we lived before. We enjoyed rice cooked in bamboo with sardines! Above: Katie’s varsity volleyball team enjoy good times both on and off the court. Here they had just finished a food fight and piled on top of their two beloved coaches. Left: The high school/college youth at CBHCC are very responsive to the worldview and storying training. These youth are quick to learn and serious in their commitment to Christ. Nathan volunteers several days each week at Faith Academy and other ministries. Here he is helping on the grounds crew with good friend Lito. Roger and I helped Jaicheol Lee (left) make arrangements for the audio Bible recording of Ayta Mag-anchi. Pastor Silac (right) will be finding voice actors. Recording will start in January! We celebrated the completion of the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) course. We hope to use this excellent training in the future. Katie on the volleyball court ready for action! Ellie is Esther’s long-awaited new puppy. She is a good guard dog and we enjoy her gentle disposition. Daniel (middle on left side) enjoyed seeing many classmates from the Philippines during a special Thanksgiving reunion in Michigan. We are excited for Daniel’s good progress in his sophomore year at Wheaton college in Chicago. He is studying Applied Health Sciences preparing for a physical therapy- related vocation.
