Whether, tall, short, large, small, supple or stiff – everyone is different and our needs

change throughout the different stages of our lives. It is unfortunate that so many

kitchens are built using standard measurements, with fixed heights for worktops, cabinets

and shelves. Many people would prefer to be able to adapt their kitchen in the same

way as they can adjust the rear-view mirror, seat and steering wheel in their cars. This

would make their lives much more comfortable...

DESIGN AND QUALITY FOR THE FUTURE is a good summary of what we,

here at Granberg, have delivered to our customers for five generations. My great, great grandfather

Otto Granberg started the company 1870 as a traditional carpentry company, focusing on quality, and

had many strings to his bow. In 1970 we took a major step in our development towards the company

we are today. This is when we created our first flexible kitchen with a motor-driven lift system to provide

greater comfort. Since then, we have delivered tens of thousands of kitchens that enrich and simplify

people’s everyday lives.

Today we work to make it easier, more comfortable and more enjoyable for everyone to work in the

kitchen. Our built-in lift systems allow you to control the height of your kitchen cabinets, worktops and

Ergonomic products are not only adapted for what they are going to be used for, but also for who is going to use them. This is also the thinking behind our ErgoKitchen. We create our kitchens for people who are tired of getting up on a stool to reach the top shelf, people who want to avoid stooping at the sink, people who are seated when they prepare food and people who just want to have a cool kitchen with smart functions that are out of the ordinary.

An ErgoKitchen produced by Granberg is more advanced than most other kitchens. Cabinets, worktops and shelves can be adjusted vertically with a press of a button, as the kitchen contains electronics and mechanics that other kitchens do not have. To ensure your safety, we only work with CE-marked electrical products that have gone through risk analyses and tests. Our lift systems are constructed using tried and tested technology.

Attention to quality has been an important part of our brand ever since Otto Granberg founded our company back in 1870. As a family company we are proud of the kitchens we create. The technology in the kitchen should not be visible. It should simply sit in the

Your microwave in the top cabinet can be lowered quickly and simply to a level where you can reach it.

By pressing a button you can lower the shelves in the top cabinet to the height you want, making it easy to reach items on the top shelf.

The vertically adjustable kitchen worktop means that people of any height can work com-fortably in the kitchen, as can those who sit or stand.

In this kitchen, heavy lifting is not required. You can place your kitchen appli-ance or microwave oven on the appliance lift in your bottom cupboard.

You can enjoy cooking comfortably thanks to the adjust-able height of the worktop.

The ability to lower and move forward the whole wall unit makes it easy to reach items at the back of the shelves.

VERTI lift system is the perfect solution for

the top shelves in their kitchen cabinets. Having

the Verti system in your wall cabinets means that

you just have to press a button and the shelves in

the cabinets are lowered elegantly towards the

worktop.

Verti can be retro-fitted into existing cabinets when renovating your kitchen and into new units when building a new kitchen.

�7Verti takes up a minimum amount of space and when the shelves are in their top position, the cabinet works just like a standard kitchen cabinet.

The Verti lift system creates a smooth solution for lifting and lowering your microwave.

The system can be lowered quickly and simply to the correct level for you.

As the worktop is deeper than the top cabinet, there is a free space to work on, even when the shelves are lowered.

By pressing a button, you can lower the shelves in the cabinet quickly and quietly to the height you want.

The Verti lift system is installed inside the wall cabinet and is completely hidden when not in use.

DIAGO is a lift system that uses strong and

quiet motors to lower all of the cabinet units down

and out towards the edge of the worktop. The

system is invaluable for people who are seated

when working in the kitchen and for others who

want to avoid using a stool or a step to reach the

top shelves of the cabinets.

Diago can be retro-fitted just as smoothly behind existing cabinets when renovating your kitchen and behind new units when building a new kitchen.

��It is even more useful for people who sit and work in the kitchen to be able to control the height of the cabinets.

When the cabinet units are lifted up, there is plenty of space between the top cabinet and the worktop.

The cabinets move forwards when they are lowered, considerably increasing accessibility. A sheet of fabric hides and protects Diago's lift unit.

You can choose how many cabinet units can be lowered and raised using the lift system.

The Diago lift system is installed behind the wall cabinet and is completely hidden when not in use.

With an additional pull-out board, there is enough counter space even when Diago is lowered down over the main worktop.

Baselift is a flexible lift system with many areas of use. Here we have created a kitchen island that has a vertically adjustable sink unit.

The worktop lift is available in several different models and can be installed in corners. The photo shows the Baselift Corner – 6201.

This flexibility allows each user of the kitchen to adjust the height of the worktop to suit their personal preferences.

The work surface can be simply adjusted so that the user can raise or lower the worktop according to their needs.

3�In its raised position, the TV or computer screen is completely hidden in the wall cabinet.

Sometimes it is very useful to be connected to the Internet when in the kitchen; particularly when you are looking for recipes or ideas for lunch.

In its lowered position, the TV can be the focal point of the kitchen. In front of the screen’s holding mechanism there is enough space for glasses and mugs.

FLAT is the name of one of our latest products.

A new lift developed in response to our customer’s

increasing requirements for convenience in their

kitchens. We are always looking for new solutions

and possibilities that allow people to create their

dream kitchen.

Using the Flat lift system, a TV or computer screen can be integrated, offering an exciting addition to your kitchen fixtures.

UNILIFT is the perfect aid in the kitchen. A

motorised unit that helps you avoid heavy lifting

and also gives you extra work surface at your work-

top. What do you put on your Unilift? Microwaves,

coffee machines, food processors or heavy boxes

are all easily accommodated.

There are many possibilities for its use.

When Unilift is in its raised position, its worktop provides a steady and easily accessible complement to your other work surfaces.

The Unilift universal lift helps you to lift heavy items such as household appliances and microwave ovens.

Unilift is shown in its lowest position. The lift unit is extremely easy to install and fits into a base cabinet that has a width of 40-60cm.

With a press of a button, Unilift can lift weights of up to 20 kg up and out of the bottom cabinet.

SAFE OPERATION is an important

feature that we always take into consideration

when developing new ErgoKitchens. People who

buy a kitchen solution from us should, of course,

feel that they can control its functions in a simple

and safe way. We believe that this is essential to

enjoy a kitchen that has been enriched with work-

tops and shelves that can move.

3�The Verti system also comes with a safety trip panel at the top to prevent damage to items that are placed on the top shelf.

A safety trip panel under worktop lifts (available as an accessory to the Slimlift) also means that you do not have to worry about anything trapped underneath. The motor will stop if the panel meets with any resistance from underneath.

We also offer several different solutions for the wireless remote control of our products.

Just as with many of our other lifts, Unilift can be controlled using a cable hand control.

There is a safety trip plate under our Verti and Diago top cabinet lifts which automatically stops the motor if something gets in the way.

The recessed control panel allows you to control one or more lifts in your ErgoKitchen. You can lock your lifts using a key, making your ErgoKitchen safe for children.

Having a stove-top inset into our adjustable Baselift worktop means that all users of the kitchen can enjoy a comfortable working posture when they are cooking.

A longer version of the Baselift worktop lift has enough room for a stove-top and a sink. They have been inset into a stainless steel work surface.

A side-hinged oven provides easier access when cooking.

A dishwasher that can be installed slightly higher in the cabinet will make it easier to load or unload.

The cutting board is installed directly under the side-hinged built-in oven; a practical detail that many people appreciate.

A side-hinged door on the ErgoKitchen’s oven makes it easier to reach plates and baking trays from inside.

38Our cutting boards blend into the fittings and provide easily accessible worktops and counter surfaces in the kitchen.

The storage unit on wheels is adapted to fit under our worktops and comes in three different models.

Sockets and controls are placed on the front of the worktop, making them easier to reach.

Storage units on wheels create a flexible solution when used with moveable countertops.

There is room for drawers, for example, in the front of the worktop lift. Here is a practical drawer insert with compartments for different kitchen utensils.

The recycling bin in the unit makes it easier for people who want to take care of the environment.

3�Sink units with shallow sinks provide extra leg room and make it easier to lower the unit to a comfortable level for kitchen users who are seated.

The protective covers have the same function as the protective boards and also provide extra leg room for kitchen users who are seated.

Protective boards under the worktop lift hide and protect its motor and electronics.

The wall edging strip is an additional safety detail for the Baselift that prevents small objects from falling behind the worktop lift.

The easy-grip one-handle mixer tap has a high spout and a long lever and means that you can easily control the water flow and water temperature.

The Coatlift clothes rail lift makes it easier for you to get to the clothes in your wardrobe. You can lower the clothes by pressing the button.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERSGENERAL INFORMATIONWhat wall construction do I need to install your lift systems?Plaster walls need to be reinforced with bolts in the wall. You can download instruction manuals with detailed instructions at www.granberg.se.

Can I install the lift systems in my current kitchen?Yes, you can. Granberg can supply lift systems in measurements that are suitable for both new and old kitchens.

How do the safety systems work in the different lifts?The lift systems are designed with the highest level of safety possible. By using safety plates and safety trip panels, the lifts stop when they come into contact with any objects or people.

Do I need a specially trained fitter to install it?No, a professional carpenter, electrician and if necessary a plumber can install our lift systems using the detailed instructions that accompany them.

I am not sure how to design my ErgoKitchen to make sure that it is functional. Can you help me with planning?Yes, we will help and assist you in selecting the appropriate products in the range to suit your needs and requirements.

Is it possible to have tiles on the walls if I have the wall cabinet lifts and worktop lifts?Yes, our lifts have been designed to allow room for tiles. When installing standard height worktop lifts, tiles can be placed 70 cm above the floor.

How much room should there be next to moveable cabinets and worktops?5-8 mm is needed to allow room for the movement of the cabinets or worktops.

Can my fan be raised or lowered?No, the fan has to be located at a fixed height. The lowest permitted dis-tance between the fan and the stove-top is specified by the fan manufacturer.

How do you deliver the products that I order from you?As much as possible is delivered pre-assembled to make installation easier.

Do the lift systems require a lot of service?No, our products have an extremely long life and require no regular service. Quick checks to be carried out at regular intervals are detailed in the installation manuals provided with the products.

How long is the warranty on the lift systems?We offer a two-year warranty on all lift systems.

Where are the lift systems manufactured?They are manufactured in Sweden.

Can I stop the lift at a height of my choice?Yes, the lift will stop as soon as you release the control button.

Do the lift systems make a lot of noise?No, the lift's motors are very quiet and all the movements are soft and smooth.

DIAGOCan several cabinets be installed onto the Diago wall cabinet lift?Yes, cabinets that have a combined width of up to 180 cm can be installed onto the lift.

VERTICan the Verti interior cabinet lifts be installed into my existing kitchen?Yes, the bottom and the shelves of the existing cabinets are removed to provide space for Verti.

BASELIFTHow does the drainage work when the height of the kitchen worktop is adjusted?Water and drainage are connected up using flexible hoses.

Are normal stove-tops suitable for the worktop lifts?Yes, normal stove-tops can be built into the worktop lift.

Are normal sinks suitable for the worktop lift?Yes, but the sink has to be a maximum of 12 cm deep in order to guarantee leg room and comfort for kitchen users who are seated.

Can you install a standard worktop onto the worktop lift?Yes, a standard worktop can be installed.

I have a window over the sink. Is there a risk that the worktop lift will hit the window sill?In its highest position the worktop lift (including a 3.0 cm thick worktop) has a height of 98 cm above the floor. If necessary, the height adjustment can be limited.

The flat lift system allows for a TV or computer screen to be integrated into the kitchen furniture. The screen is installed, along with the lift unit, into the back edge of the wall cabinet and is lowered with a steady and smooth movement. In its raised position, the screen is completely hidden in the cabinet.

When installing, the bottom of the wall cabinet is cut out at the back, while some of the depth of the shelves is also cut. There is a protective board inside the cabinet that hides the motor unit.There is ample room for glasses, mugs etc to be stored in front of the mechanism.

Verti takes up a small amount of space and the cabinet is not built out further from the wall. The system can be used as a separate solution or combined with one of our worktop lifts in order to totally adapt your kitchen. The lift is available in different models and is therefore suitable for all wall cabinets on the market that have a height of 70.0 cm or higher and a width of between 40.0-100.0 cm.

Diago lowers the cabinet in a curved movement forwards and down to the front edge of the work surface so that you can access what is stored in the cabinet more easily. The cabinet is installed onto the lift's cabinet frame. It can be adjusted vertically and is suitable for cabinets that have a height of between 70.0 and 110.0 cm. Vertically adjustable lift system for the variable control of the height of worktops, sinks and stove-tops. The height can be adjusted between 73.0 - 98.0 cm (including 3.0 cm worktop) for a more comfortable working posture.

Baselift can be used as a separate solution or combined with one of our wall cabinet lifts to totally adapt your kitchen. The system is adaptable for most layouts and comes in many different lengths and angle versions for both 45 and 90 degree angles.

Baselift can be installed just as smoothly between existing cabinets when renovating your kitchen and between new units when building a new kitchen; and the system does not build out from the wall any more than fixed kitchen furniture.

Installations on the wall under the unit (motors, water, drainage and electricity) are hidden effectively using a protective board along the whole of the worktop lift or with a protective cover for the motor. Vertically adjustable lift system for the variable control of the height of worktops, sinks and stove-tops. The height can be adjusted between 67.0 - 97.0 cm (including 3.0 cm worktop) and worktops with a depth of 56-80 cm are mounted on the lift. The width can be adapted as required as the design permits the worktop to be mounted with an overhang of up to 10 cm on either side of the lift. To obtain the best possible accessibility, the lift can be used without fronts.

Slimlift can be installed just as smoothly between existing cabinets when renovating your kitchen and between new units when building a new kitchen; and the system does not build out from the wall any more than fixed kitchen furniture. The unit can also be excellently integrated into kitchen islands.

Safety buffer: (accessory) Installed under the front edge of the worktop. When the buffer is touched, the lift stops.

Coatlift is a good aid if you find it difficult to reach the clothes in your wardrobe. Using the hand control, you can lower the motorised clothes rail to a comfortable height for you to reach your clothes.

The lift is available in two adjustable widths, which means that it is suitable for wardrobes with a width of 60-70 cm or 80-120 cm.

Vertically adjustable universal lift that can be installed simply inside new or existing base cabinets.

The lift can handle weights of up to 20 kg and is primarily designed to lift your food processors and other kitchen appliances. Many put their microwave on their Unilift, while others use it to lift their soft drinks crates up to worktop height.

Unilift is controlled using a hand control and moves quickly and quietly upwards/outwards from the bottom cabinet to a comfortable working height. In its raised position, the worktop on the lift is a steady and easily accessible additional work surface.
