Grade 7 Mathematics Shared Assessment Content: Year End 2014 Content/ concepts covered in the assessments include: Skills Paper L.O.1 Number work - place value, divisibility, factors, multiples, primes, squares, square-roots,
cubes, integers, basic arithmetic, order of operations - Fractions- common
- decimals equivalence and all related operations - percentages
- Rate and ratio L.O.2 Number patterns – flow diagrams, graphs, tables, general rule, basic algebra L.O.3 Geometry – lines, angles, polygons, transformational geometry. (Maths sets will be needed) L.O.4 Measurement - area, perimeter, volume; conversion of units - time, mass, length, temperature, capacity L.O.5 Data handling - including mean, mode, median, range, pie chart, bar graph Equipment needed: Pen, pencil, ruler, eraser, geometry set, coloured pencils and calculator Skills Paper (Calculators may NOT be used) The mark allocations are as follows:
