story about it. Maybe even a book review.

endless!!

Now ‘write freely’ in your book for

approximately 20-35 minutes on a topic and

genre of your choice.

After having some fun on Google Earth, CLICK HERE to learn about our wonderful planet. ACTIVITY: Read the text, ‘Planet Earth’ and answer the comprehension questions (see below).

Too hard? Too hard? Too hard? Too hard? Choose an article from the Green section, such as the one about Thai taxis become bonnet and rooftop gardens CLICK HERE The article can be read to you if you click on ‘Listen to the Story’ at the bottom of the page. There is also a glossary to help you with any tricky, unfamiliar words.

Try to write for at least 15 minutes without leaving your seat. Then illustrate your work.

Draw a calendar like the one above. List 8 activities you would do in summer. List 5 activities you would do in winter. List 4 things that happens in spring. List 3 things that happens in autumn. What is the total number of activities you have? What is the least popular season? What is the most popular season?

Ask a family member to help you with the reading, then answer as many questions as you can.
