The College
Govt. College Township, Lahore is a post-
graduate institute. It was established in 2003 as a
result of denationalization of Govt. F.C. College,
Lahore. The teaching staff of Govt. F.C. College,
Lahore was accommodated here. Owing to the
aspirations of the residents of the area, and
keeping in view the lack of educational facilities
in the largest housing scheme of Pakistan, this
college is a blessing for Township. It has a total
enrolment of about 3000 students. It admits
students to F.A. / F. Sc. / I.Com , B. Com, B.A. /
B.Sc. and M.A. / M.Sc.
Institutions are known for the faculty they attract and retain, the learning environment they provide and the infrastructure
they maintain. In the light of these three yardsticks, the picture, which emerges regarding Govt. College Township, Lahore is
quite encouraging and optimistic.
The faculty is highly qualified, competent and
motivated. About one fourth of the faculty
members are either Ph. D or M. Phil. These
statistics indicate the caliber of the resource
persons. The environment is quite conducive for
learning and character building in curricular, co-
curricular and extracurricular spheres. The
maintenance of discipline is given top priority.
Since existing physical facilities had become
inadequate with the increasing number of
students, therefore, the construction of new
academic block, laboratories, administration block and faculty lounge has made-up the acutely felt deficiency. The
laboratories and library are adequately equipped to cater the needs of the students. We, as team workers, are committed to
prepare the future generation to become true human beings, patriotic individuals and useful citizens of Pakistan.

Principal’s Message
Dear Aspirants,
You are welcomed to the threshold of Govt. College Township, Lahore. It is
truly a privilege for me to speak to you on behalf of the institution at the
commencement of the new session. To be an “Aspirant” means being ambitious to set
lofty targets and materialize them by dint of hard-work. Hence you are entitled to be
“Aspirants”.
Since its inception in 2003, Govt. College Township, Lahore has emerged as
one of the leading institutions and gradually evolved into a prominent seat of learning
despite insufficient infrastructure. Now it is a well-equipped institution to meet the
educational challenges of 21st century. Therefore, it has become the prime choice of
aspiring students and faculty.
Over the years, Govt. College Township, Lahore has produced a galaxy of
alumni who have occupied prestigious and eminent positions in all walks of life. With
state of the art infrastructure and highly qualified faculty, we are committed to provide
all possible guidance to the new “Aspirants” to chisel their creative faculties. The
emphasis on holistic grooming of students in curricular, co-curricular and extra-
curricular spheres facilitates them to harness their potential positively and
constructively.
I wish you an eagle course.
