Such questions may involve recognition of conventions and genre characteristics, allusions and references. 2. Cultural and Historical Contexts: 50% Questions on literary, cinematic, cultural, and intellectual history, as well as identification of key aspects of the two authors’ biographies through critical statements or biographical information; identification of details of character, plot, or setting of the texts and films.
