• In google drive – click create and select type of document
• Create your document• Then from within the document…

If you want to track changes and their
authors through the document – everyone
needs to sign in

To share a document – click share a pop up window will
appear

Add emails here
Set permissions here
On clicking share and save names appear here
Sharing a link allows editing of the
document but does not allow sharing with
anyone else

Set up events
Groups of people are circles – expanded
narrative circle
Free video conferencing
Google + features
Set privacy settings for everything on
your profile
Hangout features
Video conferencing tools
If one person does not have audio – they can chat instead
You can screen share – eg if presenting
You can add documents from google docs and collaborate on
them
You can do a presentation via slideshare
You can take notes or sketches throughout the hangout that everyone can contribute to
Whilst in a hangout you will
need to direct participants to
use these features so you
are all looking at the same thing
