Hera a.k.a Juno

I am Hera, sister of Zeus, goddess of Women andMarriage. Though I am his sister, I am married tohim so that makes me the Queen of the Gods. Mysacred animals are the cow and the peacock. I wasmostly known for my temper to the lovers andoffspring of my husband since I am married tohim. I once persuaded the other gods to rebelagainst him but I was then punished. My weepingkept Zeus awake so he let me go if I would nevergo against him again.

Athena (Athena) a.k.a Minerva

I am the goddess of warfare, civilization, wisdom,strength, strategy, crafts, justice and skill. I wasthe daughter of Zeus and Metis, a Titaness whowas the daughter of his enemy in a war. Afterthey had mated, Zeus heard that he will have a

Though Ares, my halfbrother, was the God of war, I defeated him ofbattle. I turned a girl who was named Arachne,who said she was the better at weaving than I was,so I challenged her. She lost so I turned her into aspider which was also an arachnid which came fromthe name of the girl, Arachne.

Poseidon a.k.a Neptune

I am Poseidon, God of the sea. I was nicknamedas the Earth-Shaker. I had made all sorts ofaquatic animals like the octopus, squid, jellyfish,swordfish, blowfish, sea cow, and many others.The most wonderful animal I made was thewonderful and elegant horse and seahorse. Theywere a gift to Demeter my sister to win her lovefor her even though my wife was Amphitrite. Ihad lost to Athena to be the patron of Athensbecause she had given the citizens the bettergift.

Hades a.k.a Pluto

I am Hades, God of the dead and riches. I amthe oldest of the three sons of Cronos but Ihave the unfortunate luck. I had stayed theredown in the underworld with my queen whowas named Persephone. I had God napped herand she had ate six seeds of the sacredpomegranate of the underworld. So now she ismy queen until she goes back to her motherDemeter for 6 months.

Demeter a.k.a Ceres

I am Demeter, goddess of the Earth,Agriculture, Harvest, and Forest. My daughterwas taken away from me. My brother Hades tookher to the Underworld and ate six seeds of the

sacred fruit of the Underworld. Now I grieve forthe months, one for each seeds. Those days whenmy daughter is gone, no crops will grow, no treewill bear, no grass will spring. The Earth will growas dry and shriveled as my heart.

I am Hermes, the Greek God of commerce,thieves, travelers, sports, athletes, and bordercrossings, guide to the Underworld. I am alsothe messenger or Mailman of the Gods. When

I was only five minutes old, I stolen Apollossacred cows. I killed one of them to make aninstrument. When Apollo came, I taught andgave that instrument, the lyre, to him as anapology. I gave him another instrument inreturn of his staff, the caduceus.
