Pre-Game Meeting
The HEAD coach must attend the plate meeting (Rule 3-Sec 5-Art 1)
Verify lineups before accepting them from the coach
Have the Home Team Head Coach go over ground rules
Ask both coaches if all their players “legally and properly equipped”
Introduce yourself and your partner

Ball Hits Bat Twice
If the ball hits a bat that is not moving, no call.
The status of the ball depends on where it is touched or settles.
Bat Hits Ball Twice
If the bat is moving when it hits the ball, the batter is out
Dead ball, the batter is out and all runners return.

Huddles in LIVE ball areas are NOT allowed. (POE 2)
Infield “high 5” the pitcher is not a huddle
Batting Helmets
Must have the NOCSAE seal (Rule1-Sec 6-Art 1)
Must have the NOCSAE seal (Rule1-Sec 6-Art 6)
Chin Straps are NOT required
Batting helmets must have a face mask (Rule1-Sec 6-Art 6)
Batting helmets must be worn in live ball area’s (Rule1-Sec 6-Art 2)
Game Events
Notify Association Representative:
• Ejections - this MUST be done by 8 AM the next day
• If a varsity game is not completed
• If the field is incorrectly marked off
