Getting the most from your webinar

After registering for our webinar, you’ll be sent an invitation which will look like the screenshot below. Click on “Join meeting” (as below in green) to launch the session.

How to join the webinar1

If you already use Webex software, it will load automatically. (Don’t click on ‘load the app’).

If you don’t already use Webex software, click on ‘Join from your browser’ as highlighted below (in some cases you may need to wait a short while for it to appear).

If you have access to google chrome or firefox browsers you should cut and paste the link into one of these browsers – this should allow you to get audio through your machine, rather than dialling in from a phone to get audio.

This will then load the screen below. 2

Equipment needed Computer/tablet with up to date web browser.Phone access for listening to the presenter may be necessary.

I’m not getting any audio

Try dialling in using a phone, by clicking on the phone icon and dialling the number provided.

I can see myself! Help!

Don’t panic! Turn the video link off by clicking on the icon at the bottom of your screen.

Use the chat function to ask the presenter any questions or to let them know if you are having any issues by clicking on the chat icon

Please mute yourself during the session to maintain good sound quality throughout the webinar
