The Southeast Coast
Jiangxi Fujian Hainan
The southeast coast of Jiangxi, Fujian, and Hainan’s main characteristics can be described in 3 words: rainy, warm, and, humid. Because of this, the region is successfully agricultural. It is also plentiful in aquaculture because of its location near the ocean. These are the characteristics that help the Southeast Coast economically as well as create the people’s everyday life.

The Loess Plateau
The loess region is the wind-blow alluvium, is rich in calcium and thus fertile. But the soil does not absorb the water, causing a lack of irrigation. Two of the major resources are oil and silk. Not a rich region for food production and poor in economy trading.

The North China PlainThe North China Plain is in the north of China, and is a major agricultural
region. It is a relatively flat, and has many lakes and rivers that create marshes and shallow swamps, sometimes causing floods. This region
also has extreme weather conditions during the winter and summer. The North China Plain is considered to be one of the cradles of Chinese
civilization, and China’s earliest dynasties and agricultural societies are there. Even today, the North China Plain is still a land of agriculture. Wheat, cotton, and tobacco are some of the main crops grown there.
