Dear Members,
Well done to our senior members that competed at the SLSWA
State Pool Rescue Championships on the weekend. Sorrento came
away with third place overall in WA. Please see below for full
results from the Sorrento team.
The City of Joondalup is scheduled to replace the ceilings and
extractor fans in the club changerooms. The proposed works are
set to commence on 23rd July 2018. The changerooms will be out
of commission for 2 weeks. Please use the public change rooms on
the left side of the club.

COMPETITION Good luck to our Junior and Masters Pool Rescue athletes who will race this
weekend, along with our seniors who will race the final two events of their senior
events - the Super and Medley relays.
Good luck everyone.
Our Seniors did team green proud this weekend!
Although small in numbers, Sorrento made up for it with some amazing results
and finished a strong fourth place with 138 points; finishing behind Trigg Island
(260 points) and Fremantle and North Cottesloe (tied on 167 points), and
finishing ahead if Mullaloo (116 points).
We didn't have the numbers to field teams this year in majority of our events, but
where we lacked in size, team green made up for this in the individual events.
Thanks to the parents who got behind the event as time keepers and to our
superstar volunteer Fiona Airey who was our club pool setter for the day.
Thanks also to our officials who again did themselves and our club proud.
