Consultant Profile The U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has implementing the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act and is enforcing it with visits to foreign producers by its agents. If your company is registered with the FDA, and exporting food and ingredients to the USA, you are legally required to have a Food Safety Plan supervised by at least one Preventive Controls Quali- fied Individual. (PCQI). These individuals supervise the preparation and management of the Food Safety Plan. Including Hazard Analysis, identification and verification of Preventative Controls and subse- quent records. This course, prepared and supervised by the FSPCA is the only recognised course to prepare professionals to fulfil the duties of a PCQI.
