Although the Board of Directors approves the leveraging of impact investing, it is supportive to have a nimble process for decision making in order to adapt or respond more readily to opportunities. Larger foundations with many levels of bureaucracy may have challenges.

Develop a process to standardize how you evaluate potential companies (e.g. due diligence and approval of term sheets).
