More than 1.5 million people – students, faculty and visitors – walk through the doors of the College of Charleston Marlene and Nathan Addlestone Library each year to explore the Lowcountry’s premier research library. The Addlestone Library serves as a home for study, collaboration, and investigation – a dynamic hub of discovery that supports education at the highest levels.

This splendid facility houses more than 700,000 print volumes, provides access to 45,000 electronic journals and 100,000 electronic books, and boasts one of the region’s finest collections of rare materials and South Caroliniana.
