F R E S H A I R D I N I N G TA B L E Contrasting thick vertical legs with a thinner profile horizontal top, the Fresh Air Dining Table
is at once solid and elegant in design. Although its pure geometric shapes and rigid straight lines are minimal in form, the
table creates a bold architectural statement. It is available in a variety of colors and sizes to suit any outdoor table needs.
R I C H A R D S C H U LT Z Trained as a Mechanical Engineer at Iowa State and later at the Institute of Design in Chicago,
the innovative and esteemed outdoor furniture designer, Richard Schultz, joined the Knoll Planning Unit in 1951. Shortly
thereafter he was sent to Pennsylvania, and began working closely with Harry Bertoia on a whole wire furniture collection.
In 1960, the Petal table was introduced to accompany the Bertoia chairs and immediately became a part of the MoMA
Design collection. Richard went on to create many designs while at Knoll, including the Leisure Collection (currently the
1966 Collection), which has won the International Design Award and has since been included in the permanent collections
of many international museums.
