On November 19, more than 260 guests gathered at the Regent Beijing, Dongcheng District, China to celebrate and honor the success of Forbes Asia’s 2013 Fabulous 50 companies.

Forbes Asia’s Fabulous 50 companies are the best of Asia Pacific’s biggest publicly traded companies, with at least US$3 billion in annual revenue or market capitalization. Companies are selected from a pool of more than 1,200 companies and they are analyzed in several areas, including revenue, profits, return on capital, share-price movements and outlook. In Conversation - An interview with Chan Laiwa, Deputy Director of the Subcommittee for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Compatriots and Overseas Chinese of the National Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairlady of Fu Wah International Group.During the interview, Chan Laiwa remarked on China’s economic

outlook and some of the best measures to further develop the

country’s private sector. She also shared her insights on leadership

and how to groom China’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
