Alice comes from a long l ine of creative women. Her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother al l designed and made their own clothes . From as ear ly as she can remember, she was surrounded by Indian Silk s , Harr is Tweeds and the sound of whir r ing sewing machines . I t was a natural progression for her to s tar t her own clothing label .

Alice founded Asquith in 2002 combining her love of design with two other passions , yoga and Pilates . From the ver y beginning i t was crucial to Alice that the clothes were made ethically in the best quali ty, sof t fabr ics in s tyles that f lat ter real women of al l shapes and sizes .

A pared back but luxur ious feel is the Asquith signature. Trends , gimmicks and logos are given a back seat to feminine and elegant s tyles that s tand the test of t ime.
