Rivington Hall Barn is a family run venue and we have been catering for events in the Barn since 1953. As a family run venue we take pride in offering a welcoming

and friendly service.

The Barn, originally used for agriculture as far back as Saxon times, is now one of the most unique and impressive venues for weddings. Situated in the countryside of the

Rivington, the fields and woodland provide a great backdrop for photographs.

Please see below details of the prices to hire the venue for your wedding in 2019.

Venue Hire Pricing

For weddings in 2019, there is a minimum spend of £10,000.00 consisting of the venue hire fee below and your food and drink choices for your wedding.

We offer a 10% discount off pre-ordered food & drink for all weddings taking place on Monday-Thursday throughout 2019 (excluding Maundy Thursday).

Weddings are not held at the Barn during December or on Sundays & Bank Holiday Mondays.

As the Barn is a large venue, we recommend a minimum of 85 daytime & 150 evening guests. We are happy to be flexible on our recommended numbers if the minimum spend is met. Please see the sample costing on page 28 for an idea of how the minimum spend can be reached.

The Barn provides the most magical backdrop for your wedding ceremony. There are two different layouts to choose from: an impressive long aisle to make the grand entrance you’ve always

dreamed of or a smaller aisle for a more romantic and intimate setting to say your vows.

If you would prefer a religious ceremony, there is both a Chapel and a Church close by in Rivington Village.

If you choose to hold your ceremony at the Barn, there is an additional room hire charge of £595.00. Included in this price is a member of our team to play your ceremony music, a white aisle

runner and eight white pillars to line the aisle which can be decorated with either our lanterns or your chosen centrepieces, if required.

After you have booked the date for your wedding here at the Barn, you will need to contact the Lancashire Registrars on 0300 123 6705 to arrange the date and time

of your ceremony.

Ceremonies can be held at the Barn from 1pm onwards.

After the ceremony, your guests will be invited out for drinks, Canapés and photographs. During this time, we will transform the Barn for your wedding breakfast.

Your Drinks Reception can take place on the terrace overlooking the lawns of Rivington Hall. Our glass Atrium on the terrace can be fully enclosed or opened to suit the weather. With seating, patio heaters and inbuilt sound system, it is the

perfect place to start your celebrations and welcome your guests with drinks and canapes.

Our outdoor bar will be set up weather permitting and includes our full range of gins, which is a great addition to your drinks reception.

This is the perfect time to relax and enjoy your drinks and canapés or why not get the party started with an artist such as a sax player, guitarist, singer or DJ out on the

terrace which creates a great atmosphere?

This is a good time for photographs and the surrounding gardens, fields and woodland provide great photo opportunities on our doorstep.

traditional to rustic with either a long or round top table.
