Council has just ap-proved a new taxi stand at the front of 12 Pirie Street

between Exchange Place and Manu-

factures Place. Winning kerb space

for taxis from the ACC is not an easy task. This three car rank facing East is conveniently locat-ed 20 metres from the busy corner of King William and Pirie Streets. Mak-ing use of the rank and creating a per-

manent presence will encourage

more city workers and those that visit the city for leisure

to familiarize themselves with

its location.
