Dear parents/carers, Thank you again for all the support you have given your children and for all the tremendous learning outcomes that I have received during Term 5. It seems quite unbelievable that we are now in our final term for this academic year. For Literacy this week, please complete our ‘Talk for Writing’ activity, Mission impossible, which has a lot of work within it – incorporating reading, writing and grammar tasks - so this is to be completed over the course of the week. Please break it down and do bits day by day: don’t do it all at once! The pack will be on the website alongside this document. For Science we will be looking at Materials. It would be lovely to receive photos of our aspiring scientists conducting their experiment as well as completed activity sheets. During the video, there will be a choice of planning, representing & analysing data and evaluation activities. First, complete the planning section and then for a further challenge, complete representing & analysing data and evaluation activities. Dear parents/carers,

Thank you again for all the support you have given your children and for all the tremendous learning outcomes that I have

received during Term 5. It seems quite unbelievable that we are now in our final term for this academic year.

For Literacy this week, please complete our ‘Talk for Writing’ activity, Mission impossible, which has a lot of work within it –

incorporating reading, writing and grammar tasks - so this is to be completed over the course of the week. Please break it

down and do bits day by day: don’t do it all at once! The pack will be on the website alongside this document.

For Science we will be looking at Materials.

It would be lovely to receive photos of our aspiring scientists conducting their experiment as well as completed activity

sheets. During the video, there will be a choice of planning, representing & analysing data and evaluation activities. First,

complete the planning section and then for a further challenge, complete representing & analysing data and evaluation

activities.

I have kept all the usual activities so that you have a varied selection of activities available to you.

As I know that some days are trickier than others, please select the activities that you believe take priority and I must

stress, you don’t have to complete every task. Your children’s happiness and wellbeing are the most important aspects during

these unprecedented times. Just complete work that you think is manageable and send it to me when it’s convenient for you.

Spelling – Learn the next row of the statutory spelling words. Please continue to use the ‘look, say, cover, write’, arty

spell, pyramid spellings and incorporate a selected spelling within individual sentences.

Activity 6: BBC Bitesize. This will give you a comprehensive range of subjects and activities to choose from.
