DeWitt’s® All Purpose Rubber Seal Roof Cleaner

DESCRIPTION: Use Step 1 when preparing roofs for application of rubber seal tapes. This heavy duty all-purpose cleaner tackles

grime, oil, grease, oxidation, tree sap, etc. DeWitt’s® Rubber Seal Roof Cleaner is a water base, non-solvent, biodegradeable, non-toxic, phosphate free cleaner.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Spray roof cleaner directly on surface. If necessary, agitate using a brush or broom to remove heavy build up and oxidation. Rinse with water. Lightly soiled roofs – spray and wipe off. Allow surface to dry before proceeding with DeWitt’s® Rubber Seal Primer. (STEP 2).

CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not ingest.

FIRST AID: EYES: Immediately flush with water and consult a physician. SKIN: Flush with plenty of water. INGESTION: Drink 1-2 glasses of water and seek immediate medical attention.

DIRECTIONS:Step 1: Clean the area with DeWitt’s® Rubber Seal Roof Cleaner No. 700.

Step 2: Prime the area with DeWitt’s® Rubber Seal Roof Primer No. 701.

Step 3:3a: Unroll 12” DeWitt’s® Rubber Seal Cover Strip with release side up and place at one end of the repair area.

3b: Peel back 8” of paper to expose adhesive side of strip. Fold adhesive side back under onto the starting point.

3c: Peel off additional paper until entire outside surface of roll is exposed adhesive.

3d: Place knee on paper and thumb in each end of roll core and push roll down repair area.

3e: Use seam roller over entire area moving roller both parallel and perpendicular over patched area.

DeWitt’s® Self Adhesive Black EPDM Rubber Seal Cover Strip

DESCRIPTION: DeWitt’s® Rubber Seal Cover Strip is a self-adhesive fully cured EPDM roll that instantly seals and waterproofs tears, holes, and punctures. Installs fast and easy which saves time and money. Can be applied from -15° F to 150° F. This butyl based tape results in high strength and flexibility over a broad temperature range. Does not absorb moisture, and will not peel, shrink, or crack. Permanently bonds to most surfaces and will last 35 years or more when properly applied.

USES: Repair EPDM, CSPE/Hypalon, APP/SBS Modifieds, TPO, most PVCs, Asphalt BUR, Shingles, Tile, Metal Roofs, and much more. Seals Skylights, Gutters, Copings, Metal and Polymeric Fastening Plates, Termination Bars, Gravel Stop Flashings, Ductwork, PVC Pipe, Awnings, Tents, Tarps, RVs, Tanks, and all air leaks.
