Headcount Definition Changes: In Fall 14 (FY15) UMUC moved to WorldWide Distance Education (WWDE). This change had an impact on StatesideHeadcount because any student who took a WWDE course was considered Stateside. In Fall 16 (FY17) UMUC started reporting all students, includingWorldwide students. Now students are reported based off of their home campus.
Headcount: Headcount refers to the unduplicated count of students enrolled for one or more classes, within the same level (undergraduate or graduate), during the timeperiod stated. Unduplicated means that a student is only counted once, at the undergraduate or graduate level, regardless of the number of classes taken or the numberof sites at which the classes are located. Unduplicated headcount is the most frequently used term for reporting student data. Students will be counted only once as anundergraduate or once as a graduate.
