The First Nations Health Transformation Summit is an opportunity for First Nations, the federal government, and provinces/territories to come together to develop shared priorities and determine next steps towards closing jurisdictional gaps in First Nations health. Come and share/hear about important innovations in First Nations health systems governance from across the country.

The Assembly of First Nations’ (AFN) 2018 First Nations Health Transformation Summit is a unique opportunity to learn more about transformational approaches to First Nations health including: historical pre-contact health systems and the inherent and treaty right to health; innovative ways to address transformation change across jurisdictions; and, international approaches to Indigenous health transformation.

There will also be opportunities to dialogue with your fellow delegates in a number of areas such as: relationship building; funding sustainability; legal, legislative and licensing hurdles; reciprocal accountability; and, capacity development.
