FAST, SACRIFICE & MEDITATION WEDNESDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: Jesus gave his life for me - Sacrifice Scripture: Philippians 2:5-8 Prayer Focus: That I might know the value of sacrifice

and give up something to show my love for God.

THURSDAY Theme: Jesus lives Scripture: Luke 24: 1-7 Prayer Focus: That I might know that Jesus lives in my

heart. FRIDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: I must live so that others can see Jesus in

me Scripture: Matthew 5: 16 Prayer Focus: That I will develop the attitudes and

behaviors that reflect the Christ in me. SATURDAY Theme: I cannot serve God and money Scripture: Luke 16:13 Prayer Focus: That I will develop the right attitude

towards money. God sustains me and not my money.

commandments. Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:5-7, John 14: 15 Prayer Focus: That I will never be ashamed of living for

God. WEDNESDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: God gives me commandments. Scripture: Matthew 28: 18-20, Mark 10: 19 Prayer Focus: That I reflect on God’s commandments to

me. THURSDAY Theme: I belong to the body of Christ, I can make a

FAST, SACRIFICE & MEDITATION MONDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: Jesus has prepared a place for me in Heaven. Scripture: John 14: 2-3 Prayer Focus: That I might live to be worthy of my Heavenly

reward. TUESDAY Theme: I must find eternal fulfillment in God rather

than in worldly pleasures. Scripture: Acts 20: 21, Matthew 6: 19-20 Prayer Focus: That I might gain strength to withstand

temptations and trials. WEDNESDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: God’s power cannot be limited or contained. Scripture: Matthew 27: 62-66, Matthew 19: 26 Prayer Focus: That I might always acknowledge God’s

power over life and death. THURSDAY Theme: I must run with patience and determination

the race that is before me. Scripture: Hebrews 12:1, James 1: 21-22 Prayer Focus: That God will give me the will and

determination to finish the race. FRIDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: I must love everyone in order to reflect of love

threaten my walk with God. Scripture: Mark 14: 37-38 Prayer Focus: I will be steadfast and unmovable in my

commitment to live faithfully. TUESDAY Theme: I must stay connected to the Lord as my power

source. Scripture: John 15: 5 Prayer Focus: That I will always remain mindful that my help

comes from the Lord. WEDNESDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: I will put on the whole armor of God. Scripture: Ephesians 6: 10-17 Prayer Focus: That I realize that I am dressed for spiritual

battle. I am prepared. THURSDAY Theme: Hearing and obeying God firmly establishes my

relationship with him. Scripture: Matthew 7: 24-27 Prayer Focus: That I will be strengthened in my will to hear

and obey God’s voice. FRIDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: Christ suffered for me. Scripture: Matthew 27: 27-31 Prayer Focus: That I will give Christ thanks for the price he

FAST, SACRIFICE & MEDITATION MONDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: God’s Spirit is always with me. Scripture: Psalm 139: 7-12 Prayer Focus: That I will always know and sense the presence

of God with me. TUESDAY Theme: I must stay on a path of faithfulness and

obedience. Scripture: Proverbs 4: 25-27 Prayer Focus: That I will not be sidetracked by evil and

temptations. WEDNESDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: I am not perfect. I am a work in progress. Scripture: Romans 3: 23 Prayer Focus: To acknowledge the area of my life where I fall

short and seek forgiveness. THURSDAY Theme: Christ has shown me how to be humble

through a servant’s spirit. Scripture: John 13: 4-5, 12-15 Prayer Focus: That I will present me an opportunity to

demonstrate a servant’s heart. FRIDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: Today the Devil will not steal my joy nor destroy

my spirit. Scripture: John 10: 10 Prayer Focus: That when I am under spiritual attack, I will

spend time with God for protection. SATURDAY Theme: I must seek God for fulfillment. Scripture: Matthew 7: 7-8 Prayer Focus: That I will learn to seek God to supply my

“every” need.

FAST, SACRIFICE & MEDITATION MONDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: I will keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. Scripture: Hebrews 12:1b-2a, Isaiah 26: 3-4 Prayer Focus: That I will stay focused on God’s presence in

my life. TUESDAY Theme: I must acknowledge Christ as Savior. Scripture: Matthew 16: 15-16 Prayer Focus: I will thank God for Jesus as my Savior. WEDNESDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: I will introduce somebody to the goodness of

God. Scripture: Mark 2: 2-5, Matthew 5: 16 Prayer Focus: That God will give me the courage, strength

and opportunity to be a witness. THURSDAY Theme: I have so many blessings from God. Scripture: Psalms 127: 3-5a Prayer Focus: I will name my blessings and thank God for

them. FRIDAY (Day of Fasting) Theme: My path to heaven is paved with belief and

obedience in Christ. Scripture: Romans 10: 9-10 Prayer Focus: That I will cherish my relationship with Christ, He

is my path to heaven. SATURDAY Theme: I will live in eternity because Jesus lives. Scripture: John 14: 1-6 Prayer Focus: That I will rejoice in knowing that Jesus has

prepared my place in heaven.
