1. OBJECTIVE
The objective of this procedure is to provide guidelines to verify the FireFighting System being tested, and to furnish the initial start-up procedure of
the fire fighting system except the fire alarm/ detection system.
The equipment and control devices on the system must meet functionaldesign requirements to demonstrate reliability and continuity of process.
The fire alarm and detection system will be tested by a separate testprocedure to be submitted later.
2. ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
1. Acceptance noise level85 dB (A) in one meter distance from the source of equipment.
2. Vibration
Acceptable field vibration limits shall meet the vibration severity attached inappendix
3. Bearing temperatureBearing temperature are as specified by the vendors technical manual, butNot exceed 75C.

5. PRECAUTION AND NOTES
1. To protect personnel and the equipment:
Barriers, danger signs, tags, area restrictions, etc. should be used bylockout & tag out procedure and permit to work system in accordancewith the commissioning plan.
2. Stop running pump if unusual noises develop, or if monitored parametersexceed the design limits.
3. Stop running pump if unusual noise leakage of water is occurred andcloses the relating valves.
4. Communication is established between the test equipment and controlstation.
5. Prior to test equipment, test area shall be cleaned.
6. Test running time shall be as specified by the manufacture or untilequipment temperatures stabilize.
