  • I remember when I started this job (its a job as snowbo-arding is a sport), one of the best moments at the be-ginning of a new year was sneaking in the Italian dealers showrooms to have a look at the new seasons boards. Being there right when they took the plastic off the boards, those bindings, those boots so new, that you could sniff and they smelled of future, you could touch them all and tell all the different changes or small improvements from the previous years models. well, it was a thing that made me feel like the chosen one. It is right at the ISPO or Modena Skipass then that dreams come true: touching closer those things that represent the brand new. Or at our Sequence week in August on Les 2 Alpes glacier. This catalogue here that you have in your hands now is another fantastic sensorial and mental experience: you can fantasize about having all these means at your disposal, to get out and have fun in any wea-ther or different terrain conditions. You can waste hours and hours comparing this or that gear, if you like that colour or this graphic more, if you need a park board to jib around or you want more to hike up and get a backcountry split. All Mountain is best? who knows. Up to you. Actually, there are so many oh so many different choices one can go crazy about it. It can take up to thousand weeks to decide which kind of board or of boots (BOA? Speed Zone? Traditional?)

or jackets (puffy? Shell? Camo? Colour blocked?). Most of the time when Im at work, Im in contact with pro-riders. Probably because of this, Ive always been attracted to their pro-models, or anyway Ive always been interested into knowing what kind of board they prefer to do this or that, pipe or big air, rail video part, having fun on the groomers, whatever. Fetishism? Oh yes, call it snowboarding fetishism. Not only this, though. Because its important to know very well what you want to do with your favourite gear. Not only, again, with boards, but also with boots and bindings so many times, in fact, the latters effects are underestimated compared to the boards choice. And you need to take into consideration what type of pro-snowboarder straps in that board, his physical characteristics, riding techniques and distinctive traits - although hes going to be always better than yourself, jumping always higher and with more ampli-tude (well, its always a pro, in the end). Here you can find everything you need for your seasons choices: take advan-tage of this catalogue as much as you want, wear its pages out going back and forth through it searching and compa-ring your favourite gear. Perfection is just round the corner. Make your final call, its hard but its part of our game. The first step towards that having fun which is the first, last and ultimate reason to buy one of these items portrayed here.

the success has been extraordinary, the fun everyone had

up on the glacier having been the same as since day one

of snowboarding. All of them had the chance of trying out

all the little small differences from one board to another, te-

sting if one was better in this or that. Because one thing is

reading this catalogue, another is strapping in and actually

try yourself. That also means: next year you cant miss our

    Sequence week!

All the CeOs we interviewed for this catalogue they all agre-

ed on stressing the vital importance of their respective Rese-

arch & Development divisions. Then, much relevance is put

on their teams pro-riders thoughts and advices. Because of

all this, we keep on doing our Sequence week project, de-

spite all the difficulties that we have to face in organising it.

Because theres nothing better than a direct and actual com-

parison between two or more quite similar products from the

final user, the customer, us all. Then, lets go straight to the

point: theres also nothing cooler than having at our disposal

all the gear we would like to possess in our garage or war-

drobe for an entire week! Have you ever fancied changing,

swapping and mixing up bindings with boards or boots, any

time? well... we just actually did it.

ALL MOUNTAIN For the true mountain lovers, those who dont want to miss anything. From deep powder to jibbing in street, you can take advanta-ge of anything thanks to great performance.

FREESTYLE You cant really stop moving, can you? Youre ready to challenge anything and jib everything comes your way? The park is your place and a freesty-le board is just what you need for a living.

PARK Youre a 24/7 park animal, thats it thats all.

FREERIDE In love with backcountry, powder and the pure soul of the big mountains. Nothing else. You just need to take a deep breath from up there and appreciate your pow turns with your hi-tech gear. So just go for it!

JIBBING we know it well, the taste of the iron and steel is just peculiar. Riding in street spots even at night is something for crazy people or to go crazy for. Youre a jibber, stay true to yourself.

SPLIT You just got bored with staying in line to take the lift. You want to hike and climb and sweat for what you love most. Divide your stick into two parts and put them back together for the descent.

TWIN TIP These boards have same measures for tip (nose) and tail. Usually perfect for freestyle riding.

DIRECTIONAL Nose is usually bigger/longer and theyre for freeride activities, like powder and backcountry riding.

TWIN DIRECTIONAL nose and tail may have different measures, these boards have also setback stance (towards the tail for a few centimetres). For groomers and freeride.

SPEED LACING The double-lace system drama-tically reduces the chances of a loosen-up lacing closure letting us adjust the upper and lower zone just the way we exactly want it (independently).

TRADITIONAL The old classic lacing system. Never gets old, though. Functional, practical and comfortable.

BOA Patented reel and a steel lace cable system to crank boots instead of shoelaces. Get a perfect fit with the simple turn of a knob, free of the stretch, weight, and hassles of old-fashioned closures.

CAMBER indicating the bend of the board: positive, negative or flat, or even mixed up and hybrid cam-bers. we have a whole article to explain them all.

FABRIC This icon stands for the kind of fabric used to produce outerwear gear: Polyester, Gore Tex or Polyfill.

WATERPROOF/BREATHABILITYTwo basic and fundamental characteristics of your chosen gear. The higher is the value, the warmer youll get and longer youll stay out there.

BAGGY FIT similar to your favourite hip hop style, its larger than the usual fit.

REGULAR FIT classic and traditional fit. Just the right one.

SLIM FIT skinny as you like it rocking down the streets.

FLEX Usually a board with a soft flex and less re-active is OK for jibbing, an average soft and respon-sive one is for park use, and a stiff one is perfect for freeriding. Its your call whether you like it more and which one adapts better to your riding style.

  • The System is a design platform that delivers a cleaner ride without forfeiting edge performance. The System improves both rocker and camber shapes, without hybridizing the two together, which we think sacrifices the inherent benefits of each.

The System design eliminates the leverage required to relea-se and re-engage a snowboards outside contact points, while creating a highly effective, more direct connection to the snow.

Arbor now offers two full lines of its system design. each is the result of blending grip tech with a parabolic profi-le: the Rocker System (providing a surfy ride, with natural float and cleaner tracking) and the Camber System (offe-ring a poppy ride, with crisp, fully engaged performance).

The System utilizes rocker and camber profiles created using the parabolic arc, which progressively reduces the amount of rocker or camber toward the tip and tail of a snowboard, cre-ating nice low profiles. On Arbors System Rocker designs, this ensures that the outside contact points are close enough to the snow to engage when maximum performance is requi-red higher speeds, fully loaded turns, and bigger landings.

On System Camber designs, this guarantees that the outsi-de contact points do not dig too far into the snow, creating a cleaner, less catchy performance that makes it easier to turn, spin, and ride fast.

After years of trials and tests, trends of all similar boards in one way or another, pro riders who wanted their boards to be the only way they wanted, cambers moltitudes eventually made sense, and now we can finally reckon how each technology has found its own right application. we had the dictatorship of inverse cambers, which had ruled the market for the previous decades half, then traditional camber got back as a detox from the negative one, and eventually an infinite series of compromises that tried to combine, as much as they could, the characteristics of the two main cambers, with some brilliant nonconformist idea which still survives nowadays, like the Bataleons 3BT for example. Here below there are all the main snowboarding companies proposals, as we try to clarify your ideas and thoughts on your next board.

Triple Base Technology is a design that looks at how the shape, materials and the board as a whole reacts with the snow whether its turning, pressing, sending, or any other contorted form you happen to make with it. 3BT boards are built with tip-to-tail po-sitive camber and base concavity near the tips, with the proper materials to match. This fusion delivers all the awesome benefits of camber, rocker, flat and hybrid designs without the downfalls of each. 3BT is its own breed, something completely unique. 3BTs genius lies in combining the benefits of rocker and camber shapes in one shape. This is done by taking a traditional vertical tip-to tail camber profile and combining it with a horizontal edge to edge rocker in the nose and tail of the board. The combo of these two shapes divides the nose and the tail of the board in 3 sections. The center base which holds the tip to tail camber (snap, suspension, edge hold and control) and the side bases that create the rocker (playfull, forgiving, float) with a gradual uplift from the bindings to the end of the board. The flat center-base section of 3BT serves as a large, stable area underfoot and in the tips. Its a steady place to press, pop, land or point it wi-thout the added drag of camber and uncertainty of edge catch. Gradually lifting the sidebase profile towards the tips changes the game by dispersing this pressure over a larger, more control-lable area. Suddenly theres a smoother transition when initiating turns, transferring from edge-to-edge, and sliding through tran-sitions, yet the board doesnt lose its foundation of grip because the full edge is engaged when the board is on angle. 3BT com-bines camber and rocker into one shape, and it actually works!

  • Classic Camber: stable and secure feel when riding super-fast or going big, with a flawless amount of pop. Microcamber: Hybrid camber for the perfect mix of pop and forgiveness. with addi-tional rocker outside each foot in order to make the board re-ally playful. Forgiving in landings, awesome in jibbing, reactive and responsive. Pow Camber: Camber-line with transition into nose and tail which adapts dynamically. For the right confiden-ce in hard turns, but leaving the board playful and forgiving at low speeds. Skate Camber: It comes with a flat area between the feet, perfect for hitting the rails and sliding the boxes, but without losing the pop because of the two cambers outside of the inserts. It becomes flat again to be perfect for presses and leave the board forgiving. Flat: These boards are horizontally level, with a flat base that touches the floor even at the cen-tre. Zero Camber between your feet with rockers outside each foot. Loose, soft, and effortless to press and butter. Continuum Rocker: a reverse free camber shape creating a constant arch from tip to tail. Boards ride smoother, minimizing edge catching on take offs and landings, allowing great nose and tail presses.

    CA

    ER

    24

Traditional Camber: it naturally offers explosive ollies and powerful turns by inherently loading up the tip and tail.Lock & Load: The board is flat through the center and has a +1.5mm of positive camber in the tip and tail. Combine this with DC CAMBeR CORe, you get the feel and pop of a full camber board while maintaining the forgiveness and pow float of a float board. Just like what happens with the Micro Camber.Rocker Profile: Rocker camber boards are flat between your stance and curved away from the snow outside the stance (anti-camber). we adjust the length of the flat spot and the amount of anti-cam-ber to determine how the board will perform. A long flat spot is fast and stable, while a shorter flat spot is more maneuverable. Likewise, less anti-camber translates to more power and drive, whi-le more anti-camber makes the board more playful and forgiving.

The all new SURF ROCKeR: flat through the inserts with smo-oth arching tip and tails, for maximum float and control. Pow FK: Mono reverse camber allows your nose to float above the snowline, while zero camber retains power throughout the tail. The MOUNTAIN FK design features the same mid-body cam-ber and flat tail used on the Hybrid FK boards and adds in the reverse cambered nose of the Freeride FK, for tons of pop and stability on hard pack while increasing float and landing power.Freeride FK has a raised camber platform through the inserts to retain high-speed edge hold through variable terrain, and elevated contact points to land and float Mercury in powder. Tried and true, Traditional Camber elongates your effective edge and provides more power in your nose and tail. New Age Camber and Hybrid FK zero out a traditional camber ap-proach 4cm before the end of the sidecut, for a more con-trolled ride while retaining the response and power of a cam-bered board. Zero Camber: Flat camber from contact point to contact point provides a slightly looser, easier to ride feel, without reducing the effective edge that results from full rocker

The word for this season is directional: like in the case of the directional flat top, which features a flat profile and an inverse rocker on the tip, for a perfect float in powder. Going on with the directional camber, a very interesting hybrid bend with camber at the back up until the front binding, to become an inverse rocker: same thing about floating but with more pop for greater transitions, natural and not. The well-known and most appreciated Flying V also sees his di-rectional variation: we have a positive in between the back part and the centre, to become a rocker then: float, stabi-lity and pop. PurePop is still there, with positive camber in the center, zero camber under your feet and rocker on tip and tail. The classic version of the Flying V still features a negative camber on tip and tail, camber under the bindin-gs and the V-Rocker in the middle. Also the twin version of the flat top is back again, perfect balance for street/jib bo-ards, while the immortal classic camber is the solution for the purists who wants to feel the response on transitions.

  • Brand new CAM-OUT CAMBeR is basically a lowrider with early and smooth transitions into tip and tail, for a fun and re-sponsive board that turns on the spot and is forgiving. STAN-DARD CAMBeR: stability at higher speeds many shreds cant live without, with great amount of snap and pop. GULLwING ROCKeR: A hybrid camber profile offering the best of both worlds for the all- mountain destroyer great response but also great float in the powder, as well as superb press-ability in the park. ROOF CHOP CAMBeR: a low positive camber with a flattened center zone for an unmatched pop and even edge pressure without bite. Smoth! FLAT-OUT ROCKeR: a hybrid Zero Camber profile where the nose and tail lift off before the traditional contact points, providing effortless turns and smo-oth maneuvers. excellent float, pressability, and forgiveness in any terrain. LOwRIDeR CAMBeR: the ultimate freestyle cam-ber with the perfect amount of flex, without sacrificing much needed stability, snap, and pop. ZeRO CAMBeR: the benefits of both camber and reverse camber without sacrificing respon-se for playfulness and vice-versa. For park and urban riders.

K2 opts for some alternative cambers. Like the Precision Baseline: raised tip and tail with the Twe-ekend bend (for a better floating) and lifted flat camber in the middle, i.e. a semi-camber which maintains the entire boards profile raised, except for nose and tail.

The Catch Free Baseline is a flat camber with a light rocker profile in the contacts zones of nose and tail, so to make the board fun and easier to ride.

The Freestyle Baseline is a flat camber until tip and tail, with Tweekend tips.

The All Terrain Baseline is very similar to the Freestyle, but with a longer Tweekend on the nose to be more allround.

The BC Baseline is just like the two latters but with a Twe-ekend tip on the nose which extends until half of the front binding, to get a better float in powder.

Jeremy Jones company is specialised in powder boards, featuring 3 different cambers. Directional Rocker is a classic camber in between the bindings with inverse camber on tip and tail, but more emphasised on the nose more than on the tail, because of a good float in powder. The 3D Power Camber is a classic camber but with the raised sides (3D in fact) at the contact points, to help the floating. Then we have the CamRock, hybrid rocker who has a positive camber under the bindings, while on tip and tail theres an inverse camber.

A bunch of different rocker bends for the company who started the Banana Tech camber revolution.

BTX: Rocker between your feet combined with flat to mild cambers out to the contact. easy riding and turning, great jibbing and epic float in pow.

C3 BTX: Aggressive dominant cambers out to the contacts combined with mild rocker between your feet. Subtle Ba-nana rocker gives freestyle freedom with maximum end to end stability for big, high speed lines. For Aggressive skilled riders.

eC2 BTX: Rocker between your feet combined with mel-lower elliptical cambers out to the contact. The perfect middle ground between BTX and C2 BTX. Kills everything!

C2 BTX: Rocker between your feet combined with radial cambers out to the contact. Freestyle freedom and carving of rocker between the feet for a more aggressive ride.

XC2 BTX: Tight radius rocker between your feet combined with radial cambers out to the contact. More tip and tail control than C2 but maintains its freestyle freedom. For more aggressive riders.

Yes has 5 cambers options. Tadashi Fuse goes for the classic camber, Flat Camber for the ones who need a fun board for park and jibbing. Camrock and clas-sic camber in the middle and rocker on tip and tail for responsiveness and float without comprosises, Di-rectional Camrock where the camber is towards the tail, from the rear binding to the middle of the front one. Then rockered nose and tail for an improved float.

Apart from the Classic Camber and the Zero Camber, Slash opts for the BackSeat Camrock, directional: it gives you everything you need to slay your backcountry line. There is a touch more rocker in the nose to add float and im-proved maneuverability, matched with a small set-back camber between the bindings to keep your snowboard re-sponsive. The CamRock design is very playful. The narrow contact points and the lifted tips make the board easy to turn. we added flat spots outside the bindings toward the tip and tail which give you all the pop you need to ollie over anything that lies in your path. The camber between your feet gives you stability and responsiveness in all con-ditions and terrain types. The Zero Camber Rocker profile will smooth your ride over uneven terrain plus the rocker in the nose adds float and pulls through. Dual Camber: easy and precise by preserving the traditional cambers far out contactpoints. This subtle Dual Camber profile co-mes in as a pivoting relief, making a board easier to turn.

Technine was established in 1994, and since then it has ne-ver stopped evolving and progressing. There are 7 bends on its 2016 catalogue. The Flat Rock has two versions, both with a flat profile in the middle and the inverse rocker on tip and tail: classic and park, with the latter having a single bends radius while the first has a double radius to rise the tip and tail for a better float. The #9 Combo has inverse rocker in between the bindings and classic camber form bindings to tip and tail, to be responsive but also forgiving and playful at the same time. The Rock Steady is zero camber from tip to tail, to maintain a perfect edge control with a permissive flex for easier presses. The classic camber is called T-Classic and the Camrock, with positive camber in between the bindings and rocker on tip and tail, which guarantee pop and forgiveness at the same time.

Twin Rocker: The twin shape has minimal rocker featu-ring a long, stable flat zone that extends well beyond the inserts into the tip and tail. LowRize Rocker: A twin rockered shape that just lifts the contact points out of the snow and has a nearly flat zone under foot. All Moun-tain Rocker: A directional profile with LowRize rocker in the tip and a stable flat zone under foot carrying well beyond the inserts into the tail. Hybrid All Mountain: Fe-aturing rocker in the nose and a level micro-camber zone extending under the feet and through the tail. Hybrid LowrRize: This go anywhere twin shape features LowRize Rocker in the tip and tail and a level micro-camber zone between the feet. Hybrid Twin: This twin shape features micro-rocker in the tip and tail and a level micro-camber zone between the feet. SplitTail: Paired with Hybrid All Mountain shaping, this technology opens up crazy op-portunity for backcountry and big country riding. Max tail float, hitting jumps, charging hard, big pow turns.Asymmetric: heelside control is just a breeze. Offe-ring a perfect balance in the turn with different radii for the heel and toe sides, the board feels just right!

  • GORE-TEX

Garments made with GORe-TeX fabric are durably waterproof, windproof and highly bre-athable, providing reliable weather protection and maximum comfort for a wide range of acti-vities. These garments keep your body dry by allowing perspiration vapor to escape so you remain cool during activity and warm during cool-down.

But what exactly is the GORe-TeX fabric? Is it a coating or an impregnation? An outer fa-bric or an inner textile lining? Its none of those but all of the following: 1. Its a membrane: The GORe-TeX membra-ne is at the heart of all GORe-TeX products. Due to its microporous structure it has some amazing characteristics. The GORe-TeX membrane is an extremely thin layer of expan-ded polytetraflouroethylene (ePTFe). It has over 9 billion pores per square inch. Its these pores that give the GORe-TeX fabric its cha-racteristics.2. • WIND STOPPER

    POLARTEC

wINDSTOPPeR fabrics are constructed by la-minating our special membrane to a wide range of functional fabrics selected according to the final products intended use.

WINDSTOPPER ACTIVE SHELLwINDSTOPPeR Active Shells are the lightest, most packable garments offering total windpro-ofness, maximum breathability and water re-sistance. wINDSTOPPeR Active Shells keep you comfortable for enhanced performance during highly aerobic activities. In this 2-layer construction, the wINDSTOPPeR membrane is bonded to an extremely breathable and abra-sion-resistant outer fabric. The lining remains loose. The unique wINDSTOPPeR membra-ne totally stops wind from penetrating the fa-bric while allowing moisture to escape virtually unhindered.

WINDSTOPPER SOFT SHELLwINDSTOPPeR Soft Shells offer total windpro-ofness and maximum breathability, combining the comfort of a soft mid-layer and the water re-sistance of a shell in one garment. wINDSTOP-PeR Soft Shells keep you comfortable with the freedom of movement you need for enhanced performance in a wide range of activities and weather conditions. The unique wINDSTOP-PeR membrane totally stops wind from pe-netrating the fabric while allowing moisture to

Named one of the 20th centurys greatest in-ventions by Time Magazine, synthetic fleece would revolutionize how we dress to go outsi-de. Polartec has become a continual source of game changing, category creating inventions: inventor for example of the grid/void con-struction as well as of the high loft, revolutioni-zing the soft shells, reinventing the waterproof breathable category.

Polartecs products are many, and they can be divided into main categories: Base, Insulation, Protection, Flame Resistance and Health Care.

Polartec Power Dry was created to give base fabrics greater efficiency, more depen-dable wicking properties, faster dry times and better overall performance. Not all base fabri-cs are created equal, and many can only pro-vide temporary wicking chemistry that fades and weakens with every wash. By designing mechanical wicking fabric with our patented bi-component construction we invented a su-perior base material that pulls moisture from the skin, expands for faster evaporation and lasts the life of the fabric.

Polartec Power Stretch was developed to expand our base fabrics durability and range of motion. The majority of elastic base mate-rials can stretch during movement, but lack

escape. For greater moisture management in warmer temperatures, certain wINDSTOPPeR Soft Shell fabrics use the innovative next to skin Technology.

WINDSTOPPER TECHNICAL FLEECEwINDSTOPPeR Technical Fleece provides more warmth and comfort than non-windpro-of fleece with less bulk by combining total windproofness and maximum breathability. wINDSTOPPeR Technical Fleece is effective as a mid-layer or outer layer, keeping you warm and comfortable in cool and windy conditions. wINDSTOPPeR Technical Fleece provides up to 250% more warmth and comfort than non-windproof fleece with less bulk by combi-ning total windproofness and maximum brea-thability.

WINDSTOPPER INSULATED SHELLwINDSTOPPeR Insulated Shells provide li-ghtweight warmth by combining total windpro-ofness, maximum breathability and water resi-stance. wINDSTOPPeR Insulated Shells are designed to keep warm air in and the cold wind out, while allowing perspiration to easily esca-pe. They are ideal for cold and windy condi-tions. By combining high-performance face and insulating fabrics, wINDSTOPPeR Insulated Shells provide soft, lightweight warmth, maxi-mum breathability and water resistance.

the tensile strength to recover their original shape and become permanently damaged. By utilizing elastic fibers with enhanced resilience in our stretch construction we made a perfor-mance-fit base fabric that can handle the pres-sure of demanding physical activities.

Polartec Power wool is a design bre-akthrough for combining the distinct ad-vantages of natural and synthetic fibers in a bi-component fabric. The industry standard of blending different yarns into a mixed compo-sition reduces the intended benefits and ham-pers overall fabric performance. By isolating a merino wool interior and a synthetic fiber exte-rior we developed a hybrid fabric with distinct surface features to optimize wicking, breatha-bility, odor resistance and durability.

Polartec Power Grid was created to push the performance of our base fabric technolo-gies even further. By developing a patented grid design structure we discovered a new way to reduce fabric weight while increasing warm-th and compressibility in the process. This grid construction enhances both wicking efficiency and breathability by generating channels of targeted touch points that absorb and diffuse moisture vapor for faster evaporation.

  • THINSULATE

    SYMPATEX

3M Thinsulate Insulation is the secret ingre-dient inside a wide range of products designed to keep you warm and comfortable from apparel and footwear to draperies and bedding. 3M Thinsulate Insulation is used in your jackets pants gloves hats and boots to help keep you warm when its cold outside. The unique micro-fibers or fine fibers that make up Thinsulate in-sulation work by trapping air molecules between you and the outside. The more air a material traps in a given space the better it insulates you from the cold outside air. Because the fibers in Thin-sulate insulation are finer than the fibers used in most other synthetic or natural insulation they trap more air in less space which naturally ma-kes Thinsulate insulation a better insulator. So we havent repealed the laws of nature with our thin insulation; weve simply improved themto help keep you warm. In a few words, Thinsulate is: - breathable- moisture-resistant- both machine washable and dry-cleanable

what makes Thinsulate insulation so effective? Its all in the fibres! The unique microfibres of Thin-sulate insulation are about ten times smaller than the fibres of other synthetic insulations, which me-ans theyre much more efficient at trapping air... and much more effective at keeping you warm. It also means we can pack many more of them into

The original Thinsulate insulation stands for the ultimate warmth: one of the warmest clothing in-sulations on the market yet still thin enough to allow complete freedom of movement. Its softer, more compressible: Thinsulate insulation is soft and compressible. This makes it flexible enough even for accessories like hats and gloves, which are difficult to insulate effectively without restri-cting movement or compromising fit.More freedom of movement, ultimate warmth and maximum comfort is in fact what makes Thin-sulate the ultimate insulation when you want to avoid unnecessary weight or bulk.

  • THeRMOCOOL fiber is designed to work with the bodys natural thermal capabilities through smart fibre cross-sections: Duoregula-tion adapts to the wearers needs. THeRMO-COOL fiber provides dual functionality born from INVISTAs experience in advanced fibre technology. THeRMOCOOL fiber is made with a unique combination of different engine-ered fibre cross-sections.

How does it work? Feeling too hot: THeRMO-COOL fiber rapidly evaporates moisture thanks to its unique fibre mix. The fibres are designed to provide added evaporative surfa-ce, outstanding moisture transport and allow enhanced air circulation focussing energy on the evaporation process. Feeling too cold: The fibre combination in the fabric provides a light weight material with thermo-buffering proper-ties: designed to protect the user from tem-perature changes. This also helps to prevent post exercise chill and still allow excess heat to dissipate into the air. Benefits: THeRMOCO-OL fiber provides Duoregulation designed to keep wearers in their Comfort Zone across different temperature changes and activity le-vels. THeRMOCOOL fiber helps you to be warm when you feel cold and cool when you feel hot. Duoregulation means improving wellness in order to allow you to focus on your performance.

Absolutely waterproof. Highly breathable. Gua-ranteed. OutDry uses a one-piece patented construction process that creates a waterproof breathable barrier. This impenetrable layer is he-at-bonded directly to the outer fabric, leaving no seams, no gaps, and no way for water to get in. Compare that to traditional waterproof techno-logy. water gets in and stays in, collecting in the space between the inner and outer layers, making them heavy and wet. OutDry improves fit and dex-terity, keeping you drier, lighter and more comfor-table.

OutDry extreme is the first waterproof ultra-brea-thable jacket with a waterproof membrane on the outside of the jacket for permanent water repellen-cy and durability. By putting an abrasion-resistant membrane on the outside where its in contact with the rain, there is virtually no risk of the jacket wet-ting out. This is a durable, permanent waterproof layer that actively repels moisture and rain. Think of it like a forcefield to rain.

Thanks to the unique and patented OutDry la-mination technology, rain, snow and wind are blocked on the gloves external surface, keeping hands dry and warm while allowing greater brea-thability and dexterity: extreme waterproofing: The waterproof/brea-thable membrane is bonded to the shell, sealing the stitching and any other water entry point. This

Performance Insulation: THeRMOCOOL fi-ber materials is the result of INVISTAs exten-sive experience in developing and manufactu-ring technical fibres for high-end performance insulation products and special fibres for active sports apparel.Thermolight Fabric: Built-in warmth, without the weight. INVISTAs THeRMOLITe fabric and insulation provides warmth and comfort without weight. In a coat made with THeRMOLITe fabric and insulation, you will stay warm and dry. Thermolight Pro Insulation: THeRMOLITe PRO insulation is able to deliver state-of-the-art insulation battings with an improved balan-ce of performance properties and consumer benefits, compared to current market leading offerings.

eliminates gaps between membrane and shell where water can stagnate and create a wet, cold sensation.

windproof: Keeps hands warmer - with OutDry bonded membrane technology, wind is blocked on the outer surface. with conventional con-struction, cold air can penetrate the exterior and fill the space between shell and membrane, redu-cing the thermal properties of the glove.

Highly Breathable: Manages excess body vapor - The OutDry System prevents moisture build up between shell and membrane which allows body vapour to easily push through the glove, keeping hands dry on the inside.

Perfect Fit: Increased Dexterity - Because the membrane is bonded to the shell, there is no flo-ating insert sandwiched between the shell and the gloves inner lining that can slide around. This creates greater dexterity and comfort for the user. Additionally, the bonded membrane leaves more room for insulation without adding unnecessary bulk.

    POLYGIENE

The woolmark Company is the global autho-rity on wool. Through our extensive network of relationships spanning the international textile and fashion industries, we highlight Australian wools position as the ultimate natural fibre and premier ingredient in luxury apparel. The wool-mark logo is one of the worlds most recognised and respected brands, providing assurance of the highest quality, and representing pioneering excellence and innovation from farm through to finished product. The woolmark Company is a subsidiary of Australian wool Innovation, a not-for-profit enterprise owned by more than 25,000 woolgrowers that invests in research, develop-ment and marketing along the worldwide supply chain for Australian wool.

A fibre from the land, produced by the simple mix of fresh air, sunshine, grass and water, Australian wool is lovingly cultivated by generations of Au-stralian woolgrowers, who nurture every step of the growing process to deliver one of the earths finest and most precious fibres. Australian Merino wool is an entirely natural fibre grown year-round. Grazing on extensive grassland terrain, Merino sheep in Australia are free-range animals that live a largely carefree existence. From the high rainfall areas of the eastern seaboard to the drier pastoral areas of the west, Merino sheep have become an integral part of the iconic Australian landscape.

Sweat is a natural response to any physical acti-vity. The cooling and heat dispersing actions of up to 2.6 million sweat glands in the average human body are essential to help us perform and keep us comfortable. Sweat is natural and odorless but mixed with textiles it creates a moist and warm environment which is ideal for odor causing bacteria to multiply and grow. It is the bad odor released by the bacteria which leads to the reduced self confidence in 90% of us and which causes 30% of us to discard clothes prematurely.

Polygiene prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria and fungi at the source, permanently!Polygiene prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria and fungi at the source, permanently. To do this Polygiene uses low concentrations of silver salt (silver chloride), which has antimi-crobial properties and is naturally present in water and soil, to safely eliminate the ability for bacteria and fungi to grow.

The permanent treatment is applied at the fi-nishing stages of textile production and field and lab tests show a high level of odor control beyond the usual lifespan of a garment. This lifespan odor control is possible as the techno-logy is bound and permanently integrated in the fabric and will not wash out.

Australia is home to about 71 million sheep, with close to 3/4 of Australias flock being Merino. The remainder is composed of crossbred and other breeds of sheep.

A wool fibre is composed of a natural protein cal-led keratin that is biodegradable, similar to the protein found in human hair. when disposed of, Merino wool decomposes in soil in a matter of years, slowly releasing valuable nitrogen-based nutrients back into the earth, acting like a fertili-ser. In contrast, synthetic fibres can be extremely slow to degrade.

And Merino wool is a completely renewable fibre; Australian Merino sheep produce a new fleece every year. In addition, Australian Merino farmers work tirelessly to conserve the pastures on which their Merino sheep graze, protecting and preser-ving the natural resources for future generations while maintaining the efficiency of their land.

Polygiene silver salt technology is only active on the textiles itself and with a heritage in the healthcare sector Polygiene has applied its expertise and testing to ensure that there is no affect on the natural bacterial flora of the skin. Polygiene is not nanosilver.

    - Polygiene prevents the growth of odor-cau-sing bacteria and fungi at the source.- Polygiene is only active on the textiles itself and does not interfere with the skins natural bacterial flora. Polygiene odor control will not wash out as the technology is bound and per-manently integrated in the fabric.

  • DRYARN

    THERMORE

Dryarn is a high-performance fibre. An innova-tive yarn designed for garments that are practi-cal and comfortable to wear. Lightweight, insu-lating, breathable: Dryarn is the athletes best performance enhancer. Look for the name on your sportswear. wear it and feel the difference close-up. Lightness that gives weight to well-being: more breathable than polyester, more insulating than wool and lighter than any other fibre. Dryarn is the perfect partner for athle-tes who subject their bodies to stress, profuse perspiration, frequent and sudden changes in temperature during sporting activities. Dryarn provides top levels of breathability. Many other fibres dont allow the body to breathe properly, blocking the bodys normal perspi-ration process altogether or, at best, allowing it to function for a limited period only. During light sports activities Dryarn controls the flow of perspiration vapour to keep the bodys ther-mal regulation system well balanced and the skin dry. where higher levels of physical effort are involved, Dryarn will transfer sweat from the skin to the surface of the fibre and onwards to the outside of the fabric and into the en-vironment. It does this quickly and efficiently. Dryarn provides excellent insulation. This is be-cause it has the lowest thermal conductivity of any fibre thereby providing the best insulation against the outside environment. Dryarn cre-ates a breathing barrier which insulates from

The company currently known as Thermore was founded in 1972 by Lucio Siniscalchi in Milan, Italy. Mr. Siniscalchi believed that there was a different way of doing things, a better way. The vision and entrepreneurial spirit from those ear-ly years are still the foundation for Thermores business philosophy as it looks to the future. Thermore has been on the leading edge in thermal insulation technology and continues to be a pioneer in the development of advan-ced fibers and innovative structures that help your body maintain its natural warmth. Today, Thermores corporate offices are still located in Milan, a city well noted as one of the leaders in global fashion and design. Milan offers the ideal setting for the Thermore R&D team to explore trends and introduce innovative products to the outerwear market.

THERMORE PROwater repellency, warmth and softness in a su-stainable solution: Imagine an insulation pro-duct that is water repellent, thermally efficient, incredibly soft and lightweight. And now ima-gine that it is made with 50% recycled fibers and suitable for the most demanding activities. Introducing the new Thermore Pro, a brea-kthrough in thermal technology specifically de-veloped for the technical outdoor market. Ther-more has always been the leader in sustainable

the outside world and carries sweat from the inside out. An insulating, protective barrier which also breathes to ensure that the skin stays dry; warm in winter and cool in summer. In competition sport just a few grams less will save precious seconds. In free time activities, the lightness of garment will make it more pleasing and comfortable to wear. Dryarn has low specific weight. This means that garments made of Dryarn will be much, much lighter whi-le maintaining excellent levels of thermal insu-lation. Much more comfortable because you wont need so many layers of clothing to keep warm. A Dryarn garmnet weights -32% than the same garment made from wool and -34% than the same garment made from Polyester. All too frequently we buy sportswear without looking at the label detailing the material used to make the garment. Our skin protects us from the outside world. It protects us from the ele-ments and regulates our body temperature. we should help rather than hinder this natural protection and thats why it is very important to know what we will be wearing next to our skin. we need to read garment labels carefully and make informed choices Dryarn is a fibre de-signed for sport; in fact, many outdoor brands chose Dryarn for their garments, like Salewa, Slam, Jaked or Dryheat.

technology and the Thermore Pro product is the next step in the evolution of recycled perfor-mance. The water repellency and warmth are at the same level of virgin polyester products. The soft, down-like touch and lightweight nature of the Thermore Pro represents the perfect, ba-lanced solution to best meet the current trends in technical outerwear. And it does all this with a 50% recycled fiber content, something that both our customers and your customers can feel good about.

THERMAL BOOSTERThe Next Generation of Smart Insulation: It has always been a challenge to maintain comfort during changing weather conditions. Thermo-re has always understood the value of having adaptive warmth and now introduces a unique insulation product that features a boost in cold weather performance when needed. Ther-mores Thermal Booster smart insulation is engi-neered to offer a consistent warmth level under normal conditions. However, as temperatures start falling, the product offers a thermal bo-ost in performance to maintain comfort. The Thermal Booster product offers increased insu-lating value in colder conditions to help the user stay in the comfort zone.
