February 2015 Great News in Mikashevitchshi! After two years of a local church from Atlanta coming to this city in Belarus, holding VBS camps for the children, and having a mini-pastors conference there early last summer, this church plant in Mikashevitchshi is taking what they have learned and witnessed, and putting into practice!! They have begun their first ever children’s Awana-like program in the past few weeks!! Praise the Lord, they have more than 40 children attending and excited about what they are learn- ing! Every child has received a Good and Evil Bible and are reading them from cover to cover! Now, Pas- tor Dima is asking for some further American support in the way of helping train them to begin a small group program, teen program and regular discipleship! After this last summer, this young church planter has caught the vision and is inspiring his church to grown and thrive!! He has requested that we come and step on their toes about discipleship!! Pastor Dima has requested help in the way of two wireless microphones, discipleship literature and funds to help build a bathroom inside the church ($4,800). The government requires more sanitary envi- ronment for public gatherings (especially with all the new children coming) than the outhouse that they have always used in the past. MIRACLE CHURCH IN STOLIN: JEWISH CITY! Dramatic changes have taken place in the church plant con- struction in Stolin, despite the frigid temperatures and prohib- itive weather conditions, this little church has made great progress! They have installed the windows, the floors are going in, the electrical is complete, the plastering is finished and they are finishing the heating system. We are moving ahead for the dedication of this first evangelical church in this Jewish city and the grand opening will be the first Sunday in October! Praise the Lord! Let us continue to invest financially $29,000 and with prayer for this church so that we can hold VBS camp there on the church grounds in the summer. We pray for a great movement of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the people of this city, and in our own, to see this project come to fruition. ANDREW NEWS STORY FROM ISRAEL. Sasha is a young Jewish man who grew up in the Ukraine with an alcoholic mother. His father abandoned the family when he was young. Eventually life became too unstable and difficult for Sasha to continue to stay with his alcoholic mother. Therefore, for most of his life, he stayed with his grandparents. Because of his early life exposure to ad- diction, Sasha began to use drugs when he was 15 years old. This continued in his new life, when he immigrated to Israel. About 4 years ago, Sasha began to put his life together. He got off drugs. He met Marianna, who is also from the Ukraine, and they have now been married for 2 1/2 years. They have a daugh- ter named Adelle who is 16 months old. Sasha has been in Israel now for 11 years. He just recently met Vlad, who is a Jewish believer. Vlad was an orphan himself, and could relate to Sasha’s early dysfunction- al life. Vlad moved to Israel from Ukraine 10 years ago with the help of Andrew and Inna. He has become a missionary there and works with young people, sharing his faith through sports ministry. Vlad just recently led Sasha to the Lord. Please, pray for this family, and also for Sasha's walk with the Lord as a new believer. Marianna, his wife, has not yet trusted Jesus as her Messiah, so pray for her to find healing and hope in Him also. PRAYERS ARE NEEDED: Please pray for Andrew as he leads a group to Israel on a mission trip. He needs $4,100. Thank you so much for partnering with us in prayer and financial support! May God and our Lord Jesus Christ will "do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the pow- er that works within us". *Be sure to visit our newly updated website and videos
