FEBRUARY 2016

February Funat PBS39

From quality PBS KIDS programming, to new and

established favorites, we have enjoyment for all

ages this month on PBS39.

For our young friends, the hour-long premiere of

the new PBS KIDS series, Ready Jet Go, airs

Monday, February 15th at 4:00pm. This series

follows a new kid in the neighborhood, Jet

Propulsion, from a family of aliens from the

planet Bortron 7. This new show joins other

recent additions to our children’s lineup, like

Nature Cat, weekdays at 7:00am and our

STEAM Learning block, weekdays from 2:00 to

4:00pm, to deliver educational children’s

programming throughout the day.

We also have plenty to offer our grown-up

audience. Season 6 of Downton Abbeycontinues on Wednesdays at 9:00pm throughout

the month, while FOCUS settles into its new

night and time, Tuesdays at 7:30pm. Meanwhile,

newer favorites continue to gain momentum,

like Luther, starring Idris Elba, Mondays,

10:00pm and Mercy Street, Wednesdays,

10:00pm.

Of course, we plan to stay active in the

community this month, as we partner with the

Manufacturers Resource Center and Dream It.Do It. Pennsylvania for the What’s So CoolAbout Manufacturing? video contest. Once

again, students from all over the Greater Lehigh

Valley have visited area companies to capture

what makes modern manufacturing a great

industry in which to work.

Visit dreamitdoitpa.com from February

17th – 19th to vote for your favorite video.

Awards will be given at a ceremony at

ArtsQuest on February 23rd.

We’re ecstatic to provide you with some of the
