Shirley A. HaugenShirley A. Haugen, 77, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at home after a heroic fight with cancer. She was born October 17, 1938, to Dorothy and Virgil Sickels, in Wells, MN and was a 30 + year resident of Las Vegas. Shirley was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Ofstedal and Virgil Sickels; step father, Walter Ofstedal; brothers, Bobby and Virgil Sickels; and son, Todd Haugen. Shirley is survived by her brother, Wayne (Wife-Charmaine) Sickels; four sons, Lynn Haugen, Ellard Haugen Jr., Timothy (Wife-Judith) Haugen and Daniel Haugen; two daughters, Lori Haugen and Kimberly (Husband-Guy) Ritter; seven grandchildren, Jahala Haugen, Hugh Haugen, Jeffery Haugen, Shaudee Haugen, Cierra Ritter, Grace Haugen and Leland Haugen; ten great grandchildren, Romeo, Elijah, Jason, Jadic, Prince, Issrael, Toussant, Harper, Lexie and Addison. Shirley was a strong, religious, loving woman who raised seven children by herself. Shirley will be deeply missed by family and friends and will remain in all our hearts forever – “Rest in Peace Beautiful Lady.” Memorial and Mass Services was held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. by Father Michael Conway of St. Francis De Sales

Shirley A. HaugenShirley A. Haugen, 77, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at home after a heroic fight with cancer. She was born October 17, 1938, to Dorothy and Virgil Sickels, in Wells, MN and was a 30 + year resident of Las Vegas. Shirley was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Ofstedal and Virgil Sickels; step father, Walter Ofstedal; brothers, Bobby and Virgil Sickels; and son, Todd Haugen. Shirley is survived by her brother, Wayne (Wife-Charmaine) Sickels; four sons, Lynn Haugen, Ellard Haugen Jr., Timothy (Wife-Judith) Haugen and Daniel Haugen; two daughters, Lori Haugen and Kimberly (Husband-Guy) Ritter; seven grandchildren, Jahala Haugen, Hugh Haugen, Jeffery Haugen, Shaudee Haugen, Cierra Ritter, Grace Haugen and Leland Haugen; ten great grandchildren, Romeo, Elijah, Jason, Jadic, Prince, Issrael, Toussant, Harper, Lexie and Addison. Shirley was a strong, religious, loving woman who raised seven children by herself. Shirley will be deeply missed by family and friends and will remain in all our hearts forever – “Rest in Peace Beautiful Lady.” Memorial and Mass Services was held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. by Father Michael Conway of St. Francis De Sales
