Executive Summary
Greenland Technologies Limited, A concern of GETCO Group is one of the Leading Trading
Company in Bangladesh., GETCO Group, started its journey in 1972 and Greenland
Technologies Limited concern of GETCO Group started their journey in 2014, as it is a trading
company they have started their business with four difference Product Crane, Forklift, Cleaning
Item and Air Compressor.Mr. Golam Arham Kibria, who is Head of Operations of Greenland
Technologies Limited. Greenland Technologies Limited providing this four difference product
all over the country. In their company they have strong sales team and Strong service team to
provide the right service to customer. As I worked with DEMAG Cranes & Components I got
very good cooperation from their DEMAG Crane service engineers. They have two service
engineers those trained from DEMAG Crane Manufacturer. It is a matter of great pleasure that in
our country most of the power plant, cement industries, Cable Industries, Steel Mills they have
existing DEMAG Crane. Greenland Technologies Limited supplying DEMAG Cranes Service
and Maintenance in those sectors where there is Existing DEMAG Crane. During my practicum
period, as Trainee Engineers, my responsibilities were to work with Service Engineers in
DEMAG Crane Service and Maintenance in different Power plant, Shipyard and Cable
Industries. At first month, I got concepts about working principles of different components and
systems of the Crane. At second and third months, the Service and Maintenance were done on
the basis of the knowledge of first month along with DEMAG Cranes service Engineer. Thus the
report has been accomplished on the basis of a nice combination of theoretical knowledge along
with practical knowledge.
