The PTRD-D is a gearbox-mounted, high speed, clutch dependent power take-off with a rear DIN connection, and a front DIN connection for a directly mounted hy- draulic pump. The power take-off is available for manual gearboxes, I-Shift included. It is driven via the gearboxes’ intermediate shaft and is mounted on the rear side of the gearbox. Rpm and output are governed by the engine’s speed and the gearboxes’ gear ratio. Clutch dependent power take-offs can only be used when the vehicle is at a standstill, and they are engaged by a pneumatic system. The power take-off stops when the clutch pedal is depressed, which means that this power take-off can only be used when the vehicle is at a standstill. The power take-off is suitable for applications such as: Timber crane Cement mixer Bulk transport The following product features characterise the PTRD-D: Fitted on the rear side of the gearbox and driven via the gearboxes’ intermediated shaft. Robust dimensions offer high operating reliability and a long service life. Rpm and output are governed by the engine’s speed and the gearboxes’ gear ratio. Reliable engagement is carried out by a pneumatic sys- tem. Double housing with a front and rear DIN connections for directly mounted hydraulic pumps. Clutch dependent power take-off

The power take-off (1) is mounted on the rear side of the gearbox.Aconnectingshaft(2)transferspowerfrom the gearboxes’ intermediate shaft to the power take-off’s input shaft (3), from which power is transferred via the powertake-off’sintermediateshaft(4)to the output shaft (5).

Engagement/disengagement from the

driver’s seat

Engagement and disengagement aredone with a conveniently located switch on the instrument panel. The pneumatic and mechanical design is constructed as follows: Anengagingring(6)connectsthecon-necting shaft (2) to the power take-off’s input shaft (3). The engaging ring is operated with a selector fork (7) by a compressed-air powered piston (8) in the controlcylinder (9).The compressed air for the control cylinder is regulated by a solenoid valve thatisengaged/disengagedbyaswitchon the instrument panel.
