You will investigate the latest scientific developments in your sector, perform primary (your own) and secondary (desk based, readily available) research, use a broad range of sources of information (research material, specialist libraries, books, journals, trade magazines, internet search engines, official sources of information - Government, corporate, commercial, trade associations, societies, etc.), consult licensing and monitoring bodies, analyse and collate the information and finally present your findings.

This unit is suitable for employees working in either a spa, beauty, nail, barbering or hairdressing salon.
