Its NOT About You, It’s ALL About YouWhen a child misbehaves or displays “challenging” behaviour, we often look first to the child as the source of the problem.

As educators, educational assistants, child care providers or parents, we are expected to help all children learn and grow despite the many different personality types within the classroom, childcare setting or the home. However, this can be frustrating, in particular, when those personalities and behaviours clash and hinder a child’s success within their environment.

Only through understanding how our own perceptions, attitudes and responses influence a child’s reactions, can we help to improve or change the behaviour issues.Course code: BAED 024, CRN: 80732Mar. 10, Sat, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.$89 + HSTInstructor: Trista Kerr
