The C17 thermostat has an adjustable range of approximately 17ºC. Within this range, the switching positions and differentials are relative to each other. The 20 amp rating permits the C17 to directly switch compressors and heater batteries on many air conditioning installations.

RANCO ICE BANK CONTROLS

Ice bank and ice differential controls make it easy for a relatively small refrigeration system to supply a large refrigeration capacity for limited periods of time.

016-6999 is a purpose built device for the control of ice banks. It comprises a special sensing element with 2m capillary and a fi xed setting device both on temperature and differential.

The E37 control relies upon the fl ow of a small AC current through liquid for its operation. This current which passes between a pair of electrodes must be above a minimum value to guarantee energising of the relay.

PRESSURE REGULATORSDISCHARGE BYPASS VALVES

This Sporlan valve supplies an artifi cial load to the compressor to replace a decrease in load at the evaporator. The bypass load helps prevent compressor operation at excessively low suction pressures.


CRANKCASE PROTECTORS


Sporlan crankcase protectors are designed to prevent overloading of the compressor motor by limiting the crankcase pressure to a predetermined maximum value during and after a defrost cycle or a shutdown period.

‘T’ version supplied with access valve on inlet connection.

EVAPORATOR PRESSURE REGULATING VALVES


Designed to prevent the evaporator pressure from falling below a predetermined level.
