Entrepreneurial Development  Summit VMS venture CandEL launched their Kickstarter campaign on

Jan.  20  and  within  the  first  24  hours  reached  their  $25,000  goal.

CandEL has designed an interactive phone case that  lights up to sound andalso charges your battery and they still have time to raise funds before thecampaign ends on February 24th. The funds will be used to finish off the firstround of cases being manufactured and be used to expand CandEL's productline  and  offer  a  range  of  designs  to  the  public.  Check  out  their  campaignand video here.  

Reno  Collective  launches  RC  Academy  with  12  Week  Bootcamp  ­

Learn to Code!  The Web Developer Bootcamp is designed to teach you howto be a web developer  in 12 weeks with real  world, project based  learning.Students will  learn the technologies and tools required to build modern webapplications. The end of the program will  include  interviews with companiesinterested in hiring employees for web development. The bootcamp runs April4th to June 24th, Mon, Wed, Thu 6 ­9pm. For more information, click here.

Truckee  Meadows  Community  College  is  offering  an  expandedselection of classes at the Meadowood Center. Previously, students mayhave  had  to  travel  to  other  TMCC  sites  to  complete  general  educationcourses.  An  updated  timetable  allows  those  studying  primarily  at  sites  insouth  Reno  to  complete  all  general  education  classes  at  the  MeadowoodCenter,  located  at  5270  Neil  Road  in  Reno.    Registration  for  Winter  andSpring  classes  is  now  open  at my.tmcc.edu.  For more  information  see  theattached flyer.
