Reporting to the Executive Director- Corporate Affairs, the objective of the position is To provide strategic leadership and management in marketing the University, sustaining the University’s brand, developing, coordi- nating and implementing the University’s enrollment, communication and public relations strategies to build relationships, communicate a positive brand and meet enrollment targets. The responsibilities are as detailed » Plan and implement advertising campaigns on different media; » Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across all the platforms and making recommendations for future implementation; » Developing unique initiatives to market the university on various platforms; » Organizing for activations for all sales segments; » Overseeing the production of innovative content for marketing collateral including print, Audio Visual and digital for use in enrollment drives; » Developing and managing content-based Social Media Marketing; » Planning & managing marketing events. » Representing the university in events such as conferences, seminars and exhibitions that promote the aware- ness of the University; » Ensure strategic, consistent and aggressive conduct of above the line and below the line marketing of Zetech University; » Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the University website. Managing Company’s website; » Overseeing the development and implementation of marketing plans for digital marketing; » Monitoring of marketing campaigns on social media platforms. » Defining and strengthening the University’s brand awareness and reputation through multiple channels; » Providing guidance in content creation and dissemination across multiple channels for increased awareness of university products; » Overseeing the development of content for digital marketing; » Monitor conversations around the brand on social media platforms and the mainstream print , audio and television media and , anticipate the direction and take appropriate actions; » Monitor and control the use of the university logo, name and its related content; » Oversee the design and production of various communication items ensuring they meet the standards of the communication policy; » Oversee the printing of certificates, ID cards, marketing materials and other print material done internally or externally to ensure there is control and timelines are met; » Oversee internal and external communication to ensure consistency in depiction of the brand; » Oversee internal communication to ensure internal customers are always timely and appropriately informed; » Oversee development and implementation of PR strategies to ensure they achieve their objectives and in a timely manner. » Conducting market research to understand current market conditions and competitor information; » Conducting internal and external environmental analysis for the University and come up with factual inter- pretations and recommendations for university enrollment growth; » Identifying new avenues for digital marketing; » Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities; » Identifying needs in the market and participating in the development of new programs as per industry needs. » Study competitor trends in the industry and devise both long term and short-term winning strategies; » Devising and implementing strategies for recruiting students to meet enrollment goals of the University; » Formulating and implementing departmental objectives and strategies in line with the University’s overall strategic goals; » Conducting monitoring and evaluation of key projects of strategic significance; » Demonstrating strategic contribution of Marketing to the achievement of the university goals; » Managing and implementing change initiatives to achieve desired business plans and culture; » Anticipating market changes, generate appropriate actions and implement them in a timely manner; » Develop and brand, communication and PR strategies to ensure brand visibility, good public relations and a positive brand perception; » In charge of the departmental SWOT monitoring and auctioning on any items that require action. » Executing customer focused brand campaigns; » Overseeing sponsorship management; » Utilizing customer feedback gathered internally to tailor university products as per customer needs and preferences; » Oversee the collecting , analyzing, communicating customer feedback and following up on necessary action items with various departments and ensuring feedback is given to the customer; » Oversee the preparation of customer feedback reports as per the ISO 9001:2015 requirements; » Monitoring customer satisfaction by overseeing university-wide customer surveys, feedback , analysis, correction and corrective action implementation; » Guiding and monitoring of the service charter implementation. » Managing staff within the team, including responsibility for their recruitment, induction, appraisal and development; planning and distributing work and supervising and motivating team members, helping them to focus on immediate and longer-term objectives as necessary; » Mentoring, coaching and developing his/her team to ensure there is a proper succession plan. » Responsible for planning and budgeting for the Marketing department by developing marketing operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; and minimizing the impact of variances. » Actively participate in preparing, gaining acceptance, and monitoring the implementation of the annual budget to ensure that budget targets are met, that revenue in-flows are maximized and that fixed costs are minimized. » Preparation and presentation of timely and accurate reports. » Continuous self-development to keep up with industry professional standards. » Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor. » Forecasting, planning and communicating enrollment targets; » Ensuring that agreed enrollment targets are met each intake; » Overseeing the registration process from inquiry to enrollment; » Implementing University enrollment policies and procedures; » Ensuring implementation of enrollment campaigns that resonate with the audience. » Possess an MBA and a Bachelor degree in business with a bias in marketing from a recognized university or An MBA and bachelor degree in any area of business but with additional qualification or extensive experience in Marketing; » At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position; » Registration with MSK is an added advantage; » Leadership » An effective communicator-good command of spoken and written English and Swahili; » Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects; » Data analysis and reporting; » Planning and organizing; » Problem solving; » MS Office and internet use; » Of high integrity; » A mobiliser; » Extreme attention to detail, and working to strict deadlines;
